١ ـ الشيخ أبو الحسن شمس الدين سليمان الماحوزي ، المعروف بالمحقق البحراني ، المتوفي سنة ١١٢١ ه.
٢ ـ الشيخ علي بن عبدالله بن راشد المقابي البحراني ، المستنسخ لكتب استاذه ، منها : (حلية النظر) و (حلية الأبرار) ، استنسخهما سنة ١٠٩٩ ه ، والنسختان بخطه موجودتان في الرضوية. [٢]
His students:
1 — al-Shaykh Abū al-Ḥasan Shams al-Dīn Sulaymān al-Māḥūzī, known as al-Muḥaqqiq al-Baḥrānī, who passed away in the year 1121 AH. 2 — al-Shaykh ʿAlī ibn ʿAbdullāh ibn Rāshid al-Muqābī al-Baḥrānī, the copyist of his teacher’s books, among them: Ḥilyat al-Naẓar and Ḥilyat al-Abrār, both of which he copied in the year 1099 AH, and the two copies in his handwriting are present in al-Raḍawiyyah.[2]
٣ ـ الشيخ محمد بن الحسن بن علي ، المشهور بالحر العاملي ، المحدث الفقيه الجليل ، صاحب (تفصيل وسائل الشيعة) ، المتوفى سنة ١١٠٤ ه.
قال في (أمل الآمل) في ترجمة السيد هاشم البحراني : رأيته ورويت عنه. [٣]
٤ ـ السيد محمد العطار بن السيد علي البغدادي ، الأديب الشاعر ، المتوفى سنة ١١٧١ ه ، قال الشيخ محمد حرز الدين : قرأ على علماء عصره ، منهم السيد هاشم بن السيد سليمان البحراني. [٤]
3 — al-Shaykh Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥasan ibn ʿAlī, known as al-Ḥurr al-ʿĀmilī, the eminent muḥaddith and jurist, author of Tafsīl Wasāʾil al-Shīʿah, who passed away in the year 1104 AH. He said in Amal al-Amil, in the biography of al-Sayyid Hāshim al-Baḥrānī: “I saw him and narrated from him.”[3]
4 — al-Sayyid Muḥammad al-ʿAṭṭār ibn al-Sayyid ʿAlī al-Baghdādī, the literate poet, who passed away in the year 1171 AH. Al-Shaykh Muḥammad Ḥirz al-Dīn said: “He studied under the scholars of his time, among them al-Sayyid Hāshim ibn al-Sayyid Sulaymān al-Baḥrānī.”[4]
٥ ـ الشيخ محمود بن عبد السلام المعني البحراني ، كان حيا في سنة ١١٢٨ ه ، وأجاز في تلك السنة الشيخ عبدالله السماهيجي المتوفي سنة ١١٣٥ ه.
٦ ـ الشيخ هيكل الجزائري بن عبد علي الأسدي ، أجازه السيد البحراني على نسخة من كتاب (الاستبصار) في تاسع ربيع الأول سنة ١١٠٠ ه ، وعبر عنه بالشيخ الفاضل العالم الكامل البهي الوفي.
5 — al-Shaykh Maḥmūd ibn ʿAbd al-Salām al-Maʿnī al-Baḥrānī, who was alive in the year 1128 AH, and in that year granted authorization to al-Shaykh ʿAbdullāh al-Samāhījī, who passed away in the year 1135 AH.
6 — al-Shaykh Haykal al-Jazāʾirī ibn ʿAbd ʿAlī al-Asadī, whom al-Sayyid al-Baḥrānī authorized on a copy of the book al-Istibṣār on the ninth of Rabīʿ al-Awwal in the year 1100 AH, describing him as “the virtuous Shaykh, the learned, the complete, the splendid, the loyal.”
