Surah al-Lahab Its Virtue
99-/11975 _1- ابْنُ بَابَوَيْهِ:بِإِسْنَادِهِ،عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ)،قَالَ: «إِذَا قَرَأْتُمْ(تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَ تَبَّ)فَادْعُوا عَلَى أَبِي لَهَبٍ،فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ الَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِالنَّبِيِّ(صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ)وَ بِمَا جَاءَ بِهِ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ».
99-/11975 _1- Ibn Babawayh: With his chain of narrators, from Abu Abd Allah (peace be upon him), who said: “When you recite (Tabbat Yada Abi Lahab) [Surah al-Masad, 111:1], then invoke a curse upon Abu Lahab, for he was one of the disbelievers who denied the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and what was brought by him from Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.”
99-/11976 _2- وَ مِنْ(خَوَاصِّ الْقُرْآنِ):رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ(صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ)،أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «مَنْ قَرَأَ هَذِهِ السُّورَةُ لَمْ يَجْمَعِ اللَّهُ بَيْنَهُ وَ بَيْنَ أَبِي لَهَبٍ،وَ مَنْ قَرَأَهَا عَلَى الْأَمْغَاصِ الَّتِي فِي الْبَطْنِ؛سَكَنَتْ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى،وَ مَنْ قَرَأَهَا عِنْدَ نَوْمِهِ حَفِظَهُ اللَّهُ».
99-/11976 _2- And from Khawāṣ al-Qur'ān (the special characteristics of the Qur'an): It is narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) that he said: “Whoever recites this surah, Allah will not unite him with Abu Lahab. And whoever recites it for the pain in the stomach, it will bring relief by the permission of Allah, the Exalted. And whoever recites it before sleeping, Allah will protect him.”
99-/11977 _3- وَ قَالَ الصَّادِقُ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ): «مَنْ قَرَأَهَا عَلَى الْمَغْصِ سَكَّنَهُ اللَّهُ وَ أَزَالَهُ،وَ مَنْ قَرَأَهَا فِي فِرَاشِهِ كَانَ فِي حِفْظِ اللَّهِ وَ أَمَانِهِ».
99-/11977 _3- And Al-Sādiq (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever recites it for colic, Allah will relieve it and remove it. And whoever recites it in his bed, he will be in the protection and safety of Allah.”
