Maryam, verses 66-67
He said: “In chambers in Paradise, they will eat of its food and drink of its drink, and they will say: Our Lord, establish for us the Hour, fulfill for us what You have promised us, and join our last ones with our first.”
99-/6916 _9-

99-/6916 _9- And from him: from Muhammad b. Yahya, from Ahmad b. Muhammad, from al-Husayn b. Sa‘id, from al-Nadr b. Suwayd, from ‘Ali b. al-Salt, from the nephew of Shihab b. ‘Abd Rabbih, who said: I complained to Abu ‘Abdillah (peace be upon him) about the pains and indigestion I suffer. He said to me: “Eat breakfast and supper, and do not eat anything between them, for in that is corruption of the body. Have you not heard Allah, Mighty and Majestic, say: ‘And they shall have their sustenance therein, morning and evening’.” [Maryam 19:62, M. H. Shakir]
99-/6917 _10-
99-/6917 _10- Al-Husayn b. Bistam, in the book Tibb al-A’immati (peace be upon them): from Muhammad b. ‘Abdillah al-‘Asqalani, who said: Al-Nadr b. Suwayd narrated to us, from ‘Ali b. al-Salt, from the nephew of Shihab, who said: I complained to Abu ‘Abdillah (peace be upon him) about pains and indigestion. He said: “Eat breakfast and supper, and do not eat anything between them, for in that is corruption of the body. Have you not heard Allah, Exalted, say: ‘And they shall have their sustenance therein, morning and evening’?” [Maryam 19:62, M. H. Shakir]
And Your Lord is never forgetful. [Maryam 19:64, M. H. Shakir]
99-/6918 _1-
99-/6918 _1- Ibn Babawayh, with his chain from the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), in his discourse answering the doubter, said: “As for His saying: ‘And Your Lord is never forgetful,’ indeed our Lord—blessed and exalted, supremely high—is not One who forgets, nor is He inattentive; rather, He is the Preserver, the All-Knowing. The Arabs do say in the context of ‘forgetting’: ‘So-and-so has forgotten us, he does not mention us,’ meaning he does not command any good for us nor mention us with it.”
And the report in full with its chain will come at the end of the book, God willing.

And man says: What! when I am dead, shall I truly be brought forth alive? Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing? [Maryam 19:66-67, M. H. Shakir]
/6919 _2-
/6919 _2- And ‘Ali b. Ibrahim said: His, Mighty and Majestic, statement relates the words of the materialists who denied the Resurrection, so He said:
And man says: What! when I am dead, shall I truly be brought forth alive? Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing? [Maryam 19:66-67, M. H. Shakir]
That is, he was then not mentioned.
99-/6920 _2-
99-/6920 _2- Muhammad b. Ya‘qub: from Ahmad b. Mihran, from ‘Abd al-‘Azim b. ‘Abdillah al-Hasani, from ‘Ali b. Asbat, from Khalaf b. Hammad, from Ibn Muskan, from Malik al-Juhani, who said: I asked Abu ‘Abdillah (peace be upon him) about His saying, Exalted is He: “Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing?” He said: “Not decreed, nor constituted.” He said: And I asked him about His saying: “There surely came over man a period of time when he was a thing not worth mentioning” [al-Dahr 76:1]. He said: “He was decreed, but not mentioned.”
99-/6921 _3-
99-/6921 _3- Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Khalid al-Barqi: from his father, from Isma‘il b. Ibrahim and Muhammad b. Abi ‘Umayr, from ‘Abdullah b. Bukayr, from Zurara, from Humran, who said: I asked Abu Ja‘far (peace be upon him) about Allah’s, Mighty and Majestic, saying: “There surely came over man a period of time when he was a thing not worth mentioning” [al-Dahr 76:1]. He said: “He was something, but he was not mentioned.” I said: Then His saying: “Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing?” He said: “He was not anything in a book, nor in knowledge.”
But by your Lord! We will most certainly gather them together and the devils, then We will most certainly bring them around hell on their knees. [Maryam 19:68, M. H. Shakir]
There is not one of you but shall come to it; this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord. Then We will deliver those who guarded (against evil), and We will leave the unjust therein on their knees. [Maryam 19:71-72, M. H. Shakir]
/6922 _1-
199-/6922 _1- ‘Ali b. Ibrahim: Then He, Mighty and Majestic, swore by Himself, saying: “So by your Lord, O Muhammad, We will surely gather them and the devils, then We will surely bring them around Hell on their knees,” he said: on their knees. He said regarding His saying: “And there is not one of you but shall come to it—this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord—then We will deliver those who were Godwary, and We will leave the wrongdoers therein on their knees,” meaning in the seas when they are transformed into fire on the Day of Resurrection. And in another report, that it is abrogated by His saying: “Surely those for whom the good (promise) has already gone forth from Us, they shall be kept far off from it.” [al-Anbiya’ 21:101, M. H. Shakir]
Surely those for whom the good (promise) has already gone forth from Us, they shall be kept far off from it. [al-Anbiya’ 21:101, M. H. Shakir]
