Surah Al-Jathiya  – Its Virtues

(Tafseer Burhan Vol 5 Pg 23 – 33)

99-/9725 _1- ابْنُ بَابَوَيْهِ: بِإِسْنَادِهِ،عَنْ عَاصِمٍ،عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ،عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِاَللَّهِ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ)،قَالَ: «مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَةَ الْجَاثِيَةِ كَانَ ثَوَابُهَا أَنْ لاَ يَرَى النَّارَ أَبَداً،وَ لاَ يَسْمَعَ زَفِيرَ جَهَنَّمَ وَ لاَ شَهِيقَهَا،وَ هُوَ مَعَ مُحَمَّدٍ(صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ).

99-/9725 _1-

Ibn Babawayh, through his chain of transmission, from Asim, from Abu Basir, from Abu Abdillah (peace be upon him), who said:

"Whoever recites Surah Al-Jathiya, their reward will be that they will never see the Fire, nor will they hear the roaring and wailing of Hell, and they will be with Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family)."

99-/9726 _2- وَ مِنْ(خَوَاصِّ الْقُرْآنِ):رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ(صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ)،أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «مَنْ قَرَأَ هَذِهِ السُّورَةَ سَكَّنَ اللَّهُ رَوْعَتَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِذَا جَثَا عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ وَ سُتِرَتْ عَوْرَتُهُ،وَ مَنْ كَتَبَهَا وَ عَلَّقَهَا عَلَيْهِ أَمِنَ مِنَ سَطْوَةِ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ وَ سُلْطَانٍ، وَ كَانَ مُهَاباً مَحْبُوباً وَجِيهاً فِي عَيْنِ كُلِّ مَنْ يَرَاهُ مِنَ النَّاسِ،تَفَضُّلاً مِنَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ».

99-/9726 _2-

And from (Khawass al-Quran), it is narrated from the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family), who said:

**"Whoever recites this surah, Allah will calm his fear on the Day of Judgment when he kneels on his knees, and his shame will be covered.

And whoever writes it and keeps it with them will be protected from the oppression of every tyrant and ruler, and they will be respected, loved, and honored in the eyes of all who see them—by the grace of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic."**

99-/9727 _3- وَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ(صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ): «مَنْ كَتَبَهَا وَ عَلَّقَهَا عَلَيْهِ أَمِنَ مِنَ سَطْوَةِ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَ جَبَّارٍ،وَ كَانَ مُهَاباً مَحْبُوباً فِي عَيْنِ كُلِّ مَنْ رَآهُ مِنَ النَّاسِ».

99-/9727 _3-

And the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) said:

"Whoever writes it and keeps it with them will be safe from the assault of every devil and tyrant, and they will be respected and loved in the eyes of all who see them."

99-/9728 _4- وَ قَالَ الصَّادِقُ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ): «مَنْ كَتَبَهَا وَ عَلَّقَهَا عَلَيْهِ أَمِنَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ نَمَّامٍ،وَ لَيْسَ يُغْتَابُ عِنْدَ النَّاسِ أَبَداً،وَ إِذَا عُلِّقَتْ عَلَى الطِّفْلِ حِينَ يَسْقُطُ مِنْ بَطْنِ أُمِّهِ،كَانَ مَحْفُوظاً وَ مَحْرُوساً بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى».

99-/9728 _4-

And Al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:

**"Whoever writes it and keeps it with them will be safe from the evil of every slanderer, and they will never be backbitten by people.

And if it is placed on a child at birth, they will be protected and guarded by the permission of Allah, the Exalted."**
