114. A Veil from the Scene of ʿĀshūrāʾ:

The late Shaykh Ghulāmriḍā Zanjānī, who passed away on 29th Rajab 1392 AH (corresponding to 17/6/1351 Shamsī), once had a vision of a scene from Karbalāʾ on the afternoon of ʿĀshūrāʾ, brought forth through a small child.

The child said: “I see a noble man on a horse, but he is so radiant that I cannot look at his face.”

He was holding an infant in his arms, from whose throat blood was gushing out. White birds were coloring themselves with that blood, and not a single drop of the child’s blood fell to the ground.
