Al-Hijr Ayah 10

(سورة الحجر)

قوله تعالى:

إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ [الحجر 9]

Surely We have revealed the Reminder and We will most surely be its guardian. (Qur’an 15:9, M. H. Shakir)

_1- ابن شهر آشوب، في قوله تعالى: فَسْئَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ [1] و قوله تعالى: إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَ إِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ. قال: في تفسير يوسف القطان، و وكيع بن الجراح، و إسماعيل السدي، و سفيان الثوري، أنه: قال الحارث: سألت أمير المؤمنين (عليه السلام) عن هذه الآية؟ فقال: «و الله إنا نحن أهل الذكر، نحن أهل العلم، نحن معدن التأويل و التنزيل».

Ibn Shahr Āshūb, regarding His saying, “So ask the People of the Reminder” [1] and His saying, “Surely We have revealed the Reminder and We will most surely be its guardian.” He said: In the tafsirs of Yūsuf al-Qaṭṭān, Wakīʿ ibn al-Jarrāḥ, Ismāʿīl al-Suddī, and Sufyān al-Thawrī, that al-Ḥārith said: I asked the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) about this verse. He said: “By Allah, indeed we are the People of the Reminder; we are the people of knowledge; we are the locus of interpretation and revelation.”

قوله تعالى:

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ فِي شِيَعِ الْأَوَّلِينَ [الحجر 10]

And certainly We sent (messengers) before you among the nations of yore. (Qur’an 15:10, M. H. Shakir)

_2- الطبرسيّ: في (مجمع البيان) عن عطاء، عن ابن عبّاس، في قوله تعالى فِي شِيَعِ الْأَوَّلِينَ: في أمم الأولين.

Al-Ṭabrisī: In (Majmaʿ al-Bayān), from ʿAṭāʾ, from Ibn ʿAbbās, regarding His saying “among the parties of the ancients”: meaning among the nations of old.

قوله تعالى:

قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَا أَغْوَيْتَنِي لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ [الحجر 39]

He said: My Lord! Because Thou hast made life evil to me, I will certainly make (evil) fair-seeming to them on earth, and I will most certainly cause them all to deviate. (Qur’an 15:39, M. H. Shakir)

99- _1- (نَهْجِ الْبَلَاغَةِ): قال أمير المؤمنين (عليه السلام) في الخطبة القاصعة: «فاحذروا عباد الله عدوَّ الله أن يعديكم بدائه، وأن يستفزَّكم بندائه، وأن يُجلبَ عليكم بخيله ورَجِلِه، فلعمري لقد فَوَّقَ لكم سهمَ الوعيد، وأغرَقَ إليكم بالنَّزع الشديد، ورماكم من مكانٍ قريب، فقال: رَبِّ بِمَا أَغْوَيْتَنِي لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ».

99-/1 - (Nahj al-Balāgha: 287, Sermon 192): The Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) said in the Sermon of al-Qāṣiʿa: “So beware, O servants of Allah, of the enemy of Allah, lest he infect you with his disease, arouse you with his call, and charge upon you with his cavalry and infantry. By my life, he has indeed fitted upon you the arrow of threat, drawn it back with a severe pull, and shot you from a near place, for he said: ‘My Lord! Because You have led me astray, I will certainly make (evil) fair-seeming to them on earth, and I will most certainly cause them all to deviate.’”

قوله تعالى:

ادْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَامٍ آمِنِينَ [الحجر 46]

Enter it in peace, secure. (Qur’an 15:46, M. H. Shakir)

99- _2- محمد بن يعقوب: عن علي بن إبراهيم، عن أبيه، عن ابن محبوب، عن علي بن رئاب ويعقوب السراج، عن أبي عبد الله (عليه السلام): «أن أمير المؤمنين (عليه السلام) خطب الناس فقال فيها: ألا وإن التقوى مطايا ذلل حُمِلَ عليها أهلها، وأُعطوا أزمّتها فأوردتهم الجنة، وفُتحت لهم أبوابها، ووجدوا ريحها وطيبها، وقيل لهم: ادْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَامٍ آمِنِينَ».

99-/2 - (al-Kāfī 8:23/67): Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb, from ʿAlī b. Ibrāhīm, from his father, from Ibn Maḥbūb, from ʿAlī b. Riʾāb and Yaʿqūb al-Sarrāj, from Abū ʿAbd Allāh (peace be upon him): “The Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) delivered a sermon to the people, and he said in it: Lo! Godwariness is gentle mounts upon which their people are carried; they were given their reins, so they brought them to Paradise, its gates were opened for them, they found its fragrance and its sweetness, and it was said to them: ‘Enter it in peace, secure.’”

قوله تعالى:

وَاعْبُدْ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَكَ الْيَقِينُ [الحجر 99]

And serve your Lord until there comes to you that which is certain. (Qur’an 15:99, M. H. Shakir)

99- _3- في كتاب (مصباح الشريعة): قال الصادق (عليه السلام): «هلك العاملون إلا العابدون، وهلك العابدون إلا العالمون، وهلك العالمون إلا الصادقون، وهلك الصادقون إلا المخلصون، وهلك المخلصون إلا المتقون، وهلك المتقون إلا الموقنون، وإن الموقنين لعلى خُلُقٍ عظيم، قال الله تعالى: وَاعْبُدْ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَكَ الْيَقِينُ».

99-/3 - (Miṣbāḥ al-Sharīʿa: 37): In the book (Miṣbāḥ al-Sharīʿa), al-Ṣādiq (peace be upon him) said: “The doers (of deeds) perish except the worshippers; the worshippers perish except the scholars; the scholars perish except the truthful; the truthful perish except the sincere; the sincere perish except the Godwary; the Godwary perish except the certain; and indeed the certain are upon a mighty character. Allah, the Exalted, said: ‘And serve your Lord until there comes to you that which is certain.’”
