61. The Obligation of Visiting Imam Husain (a.s.)

61. وﺟﻮب زﯾﺎرت اﻣﺎم ﺣﺴﯿﻦ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم

در ﺑﺴﯿﺎري از رواﯾﺎت ﭘﯿﺸﻮاﯾﺎن ﻣﻌﺼﻮم ﻋﻠﯿﻬﻢ اﻟﺴﻼم ﺑﺮ وﺟﻮب زﯾﺎرت ﻗﺒﺮ اﻣﺎم ﺣﺴﯿﻦ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم ﺗﺼﺮﯾﺢ ﺷﺪه، ﮐﻪ از آن ﺟﻤﻠﻪ اﺳﺖ:

(1 اﻣﺎم ﺻﺎدق ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم ﻓﺮﻣﻮد:

زﯾﺎرت ﺣﺴﯿﻦ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻠﯽ ﻋﻠﯿﻬﻤﺎاﻟﺴﻼم ﺑﺮ ﻫﺮ ﮐﺴﯽ ﮐﻪ آن ﺣﻀﺮت را اﻣﺎم از ﺟﺎﻧﺐ ﺧﺪا ﻣﯽ داﻧﺪ واﺟﺐ اﺳﺖ(1). (2 اﻣﺎم ﺑﺎﻗﺮ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم ﻓﺮﻣﻮد:

ﺷﯿﻌﯿﺎن ﻣﺎ را ﺑﻪ زﯾﺎرت ﻗﺒﺮ اﻣﺎم ﺣﺴـﯿﻦ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴـﻼم ﻓﺮﻣﺎن دﻫﯿـﺪ ﮐﻪ اﻧﺠﺎم آن ﺑﺮ ﻫﺮ ﮐﺴـﯽ ﮐﻪ آن ﺣﻀـﺮت را اﻣﺎم از ﺳﻮي ﺧـﺪا ﺑﺪاﻧﺪ، واﺟﺐ اﺳﺖ(2).

(3 اﻣﺎم ﺻﺎدق ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم ﻓﺮﻣﻮد:

اﮔﺮ ﯾﮑﯽ از ﺷـﻤﺎ در ﺗﻤﺎم ﻋﻤﺮ ﻫﺮ ﺳﺎل ﺑﻪ زﯾﺎرت ﺧﺎﻧﻪ ي ﺧﺪا ﺑﺮود، وﻟﯽ ﺣﺴـﯿﻦ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻠﯽ ﻋﻠﯿﻬﻤﺎاﻟﺴـﻼم را زﯾﺎرت ﻧﮑﻨﺪ، ﯾﮑﯽ از ﺣﻘﻮق ﭘﯿﺎﻣﺒﺮ ﺧﺪا را ﺗﺮك ﮐﺮده اﺳﺖ، زﯾﺮا ﺣﻖ ﺣﺴﯿﻦ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم از ﺳﻮي ﺧﺪا ﺑﺮ ﻫﺮ ﻣﺴﻠﻤﺎﻧﯽ واﺟﺐ اﺳﺖ(3).

(4 آن ﺣﻀﺮت ﺧﻄﺎب ﺑﻪ امّ ﺳﻌﯿﺪ ﻓﺮﻣﻮد:

ﺣﺘﻤﺎً ﺑﻪ زﯾﺎرت آن ﺣﻀﺮت ﺑﺮوﯾﺪ، زﯾﺮا زﯾﺎرت ﺣﺴﯿﻦ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم ﺑﺮ ﻫﺮ ﻣﺮد و زن واﺟﺐ اﺳﺖ(4).

61. The Obligation of Visiting Imam Husain (a.s.)

In numerous narrations from the infallible Imams (a.s.), the obligation of visiting the grave of Imam Husain (a.s.) has been explicitly stated. Among them are:

1.         Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.) said:

“Visiting Husain ibn Ali (a.s.) is obligatory upon everyone who recognizes him as an Imam appointed by God.”

2.         Imam al-Baqir (a.s.) said:

“Command our Shi‘a to visit the grave of Imam Husain (a.s.), for it is obligatory upon everyone who recognizes him as an Imam appointed by God.”

3.         Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.) said:

“If one of you goes to visit the House of God (the Ka‘bah) every year of his life, but does not visit Husain ibn Ali (a.s.), he has abandoned one of the rights of the Messenger of God, for the right of Husain (a.s.) is obligatory upon every Muslim by God.”

4.         He (a.s.) said to Umm Sa‘id:

“Make sure to go and visit him, for visiting Husain (a.s.) is obligatory upon every man and woman.”
