S 30 Ayat 40

قوله تعالى:

اَللّٰهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ رَزَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيكُمْ هَلْ مِنْ شُرَكٰائِكُمْ مَنْ يَفْعَلُ مِنْ

ذٰلِكُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ سُبْحٰانَهُ وَ تَعٰالىٰ عَمّٰا يُشْرِكُونَ [40]

Allah is He Who created you, then gave you sustenance, then He will cause you to die, then bring you to life. Is there any of your associates who does aught of that? Glory be to Him, and exalted be He above what they associate (with Him). (Surah Al-Rum 30:40, translation by M.H. Shakir)

99-/8362 _2- ابْنُ بَابَوَيْهِ،قَالَ:حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ مَاجِيلَوَيْهِ(رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ)،قَالَ:حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ،عَنْ يَاسِرٍ الْخَادِمِ،قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِلرِّضَا(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ):مَا تَقُولُ فِي التَّفْوِيضِ؟ فَقَالَ:«إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى فَوَّضَ إِلَى نَبِيِّهِ(صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ)أَمْرَ دِينِهِ،فَقَالَ: مٰا آتٰاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَ مٰا نَهٰاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانْتَهُوا [4]،فَأَمَّا الْخَلْقُ وَ الرِّزْقُ فَلاَ».ثُمَّ قَالَ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ):«إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ يَقُولُ: اَللّٰهُ خٰالِقُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ [5]،وَ هُوَ قُولُ: اَللّٰهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ رَزَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيكُمْ هَلْ مِنْ شُرَكٰائِكُمْ مَنْ يَفْعَلُ مِنْ ذٰلِكُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ سُبْحٰانَهُ وَ تَعٰالىٰ عَمّٰا يُشْرِكُونَ ».

99-/8362 Ibn Babawayh narrated: Muhammad ibn Ali Majilawayh (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hashim narrated from his father, from Yāsir the servant, who said: I said to Al-Ridā (peace be upon him): What do you say about tafwid (delegation)? He said: "Indeed, Allah, the Exalted, delegated to His Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) the matter of His religion, as He said: 'And whatever the Messenger gives you, accept it, and whatever he forbids you, abstain (from it)' [Surah Al-Hashr 59:7]. But as for creation and provision, no (He did not delegate)." Then he (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says: Allah is the Creator of everything [Surah Al-Zumar 39:62], and His saying: Allah is He Who created you, then gave you sustenance, then He will cause you to die, then bring you to life. Is there any of your associates who does aught of that? Glory be to Him, and exalted be He above what they associate (with Him) [Surah Al-Rum 30:40]."
