Al-Hijr Ayah 41-42
Translation: The Day of the Appointed Time is the day when the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) will slaughter him upon the rock that is in Bayt al-Maqdis [1].

99-/5870) al-Tabrīsī in (al-Iḥtijāj): From the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), in a long hadith, he said therein: And whoever submits affairs to their Owner does not act arrogantly against His command, as Iblis acted arrogantly by refusing to prostrate to Adam (peace be upon him), and as most nations acted arrogantly by refusing to obey their prophets. So tawhid did not benefit them, just as that prolonged prostration did not benefit Iblis; for he prostrated once for four thousand years, intending nothing by it but worldly adornment and to gain respite. Therefore, prayer and fasting [2] do not benefit except along with being rightly guided to the path of salvation and the way of truth. And Allah has cut off His servants’ excuse by clarifying His signs and sending His messengers, so that people may have no argument against Allah after the messengers. And He has not left His earth without a scholar whom creation needs, and a learner upon the path of salvation—those are the fewest in number.

99-/5880) Ibn Bābawayh said: Aḥmad ibn al-Ḥasan al-Qaṭṭān narrated to us, who said: Aḥmad ibn Yaḥyā ibn Zakarīyā al-Qaṭṭān narrated to us, who said: Bakr ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Ḥabīb narrated to us, who said: Muḥammad ibn ‘Abdillāh narrated to me, who said: ‘Alī ibn al-Ḥakam narrated to me, from Abān ibn ‘Uthmān, from Muḥammad ibn al-Fuḍayl al-Zuraqī, from Abū ‘Abdillāh, from his father, from his grandfather (peace be upon them), who said: Hell has seven gates: a gate through which Pharaoh, Hāmān, and Qārūn enter; a gate through which the polytheists and unbelievers enter—those who never believed in Allah for the blink of an eye; a gate through which the Banū Umayyah enter—this gate is exclusively for them; none competes with them for it; it is the gate of Laẓā; it is the gate of Saqar; it is the gate of the Hāwiyah; it drops them down for seventy years, and whenever it boils over with them in a surge, it hurls them to its top for seventy years [1]. They will remain thus forever, abiding eternally. And a gate through which those who hate us, fight us, and forsake us enter—and it is indeed the greatest of the gates and the hottest. Muḥammad ibn al-Fuḍayl al-Zuraqī said: I asked Abū ‘Abdillāh (peace be upon him): The gate you mentioned—from your father, from your grandfather (peace be upon them)—that Banū Umayyah enter from it, do those of them who died upon shirk enter it, or those among them who encountered Islam? He said: May you be bereft of your mother! Have you not heard him say: And a gate through which the polytheists and unbelievers enter? That gate is for every polytheist and every unbeliever who does not believe in the Day of Reckoning. As for the other gate, Banū Umayyah enter through it, for it is specifically for Abū Sufyān, Mu‘āwiyah, and the family of Marwān; they enter through that gate, and the Fire piles them up like firewood [2]. No hearing wail is heard for them therein; they neither live therein nor die.
