ياد كردن يحيي در وقت نزول و ارتحال

امر دوم: در خبر است كه حضرت حسين (عليه‌السلام) در هر منزلي ذكر يحيي مي‌فرمود و مي‌گفت: سر او را به هديه از براي زن زانيه بردند. و از تأمل با ديده‌ي بصيرت ظاهر مي‌شود كه اين اعظم مصائب است يعني شماتت دشمن و ديدن آن شخص را به حالت ضعف و ابتلا دچار مي‌سازد، پس چگونه است مصيبت ديدن آن سر را بريده، پيش رويش گذاشته، و هر چه بخواهد با او بكند، چنانكه از براي امام مظلوم واقع شد در مجلس ابن‌زياد و يزيد.و اين امر بر رسول (صلي الله عليه و آله) خدا اصعب بوده به آن خصوص و از اين جهت نفرين كرد بر كساني كه نظر به آن سر كردند با خوشحالي. Second Matter:

It is narrated that Imam Husain (a.s.), at every stopping place, would mention Yaḥyā (a.s.) and would say:

“His head was presented as a gift to an adulterous woman.”

From reflection with the eye of insight, it becomes apparent that this is among the greatest of calamities: namely, the mockery of an enemy and seeing that enemy able to behold a person in a state of weakness and affliction.

Then how great is the calamity of seeing that head severed and placed before him, while he is free to do whatever he wishes with it, just as happened to the Oppressed Imam (a.s.) in the assemblies of Ibn Ziyād and Yazīd.

This matter was especially more difficult and painful for the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) because of this particular aspect.

For this reason, he invoked a curse upon those who looked at that blessed head with joy and delight. [1410]
