The first study

الدراسة الأولى :

تختص بتاريخ هذه المرحلة من مراحل تفسير القرآن ، وتقسيمها إلى عدد من الفصول والأدوار ، بموجب القفزات النوعية التي قام بها علماء التفسير في حقل التفسير ، والمستجدات القرآنية التي استجدوها خلال هذه الفترة التي تزيد على الألف سنة.

ولو استقرأنا الجهد العلمي والعقلي الذي قام به علماء المسلمين خلال هذه الفترة من الناحية الكمية لعرفنا ضخامة العمل والجهد الذي قام به هؤلاء العلماء ، ولا بد أن تكون الحصيلة النوعية والكيفية لهذا الكم الهائل من الجهد أمرا عظيما ، يستحق الاهتمام والمتابعة ، وعندئذ ندرك ماذا فتح الله على علماء المسلمين خلال هذه الفترة من وعي القرآن ، وماذا بقي على الخلف مما تركه السلف من آفاق ومساحات مجهولة لم تفتح بعد ، لتنظم الجهود وللحيلولة دون تكرار الأعمال.

The first study:

It should be dedicated to the history of this stage of Qur’anic tafsir, dividing it into a number of chapters and periods according to the qualitative leaps made by scholars of tafsir in the field of interpretation, and according to the new Qur’anic developments they introduced during this period, which extends over more than a thousand years.

If we survey the scholarly and intellectual effort exerted by Muslim scholars during this period in quantitative terms, we will realize the vastness of the work and effort these scholars accomplished. The qualitative and substantive result of this enormous amount of effort must surely be something great, deserving of attention and continued study. At that point, we will be able to recognize what Allah opened up for the Muslim scholars during this period in terms of Qur’anic awareness, and what remains for those who come after them from horizons and areas still unknown and not yet opened, so that efforts may be organized and the repetition of work avoided.
