Maryam Ayah 11

قوله تعالى:

فَخَرَجَ عَلىٰ قَوْمِهِ مِنَ الْمِحْرٰابِ فَأَوْحىٰ إِلَيْهِمْ أَنْ سَبِّحُوا بُكْرَةً وَ عَشِيًّا [11]

Qur’an 19:11 (M. H. Shakir): So he went forth to his people from his place of worship, then he made signs to them that they should glorify (Allah) morning and evening.

99-_1- (تَفْسِيرُ النُّعْمَانِيِّ)بِإِسْنَادِهِ:عَنِ الصَّادِقِ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ):«قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ) حِينَ سَأَلُوهُ عَنْ مَعْنَى الْوَحْيِ،فَقَالَ:مِنْهُ وَحْيُ النُّبُوَّةِ،وَ مِنْهُ وَحْيُ الْإِلْهَامِ،وَ مِنْهُ وَحْيُ الْإِشَارَةِ-وَ سَاقَهُ إِلَى أَنْ قَالَ-وَ أَمَّا وَحْيُ الْإِشَارَةِ فَقَوْلُهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَخَرَجَ عَلىٰ قَوْمِهِ مِنَ الْمِحْرٰابِ فَأَوْحىٰ إِلَيْهِمْ أَنْ سَبِّحُوا بُكْرَةً وَ عَشِيًّا أَيْ أَشَارَ إِلَيْهِمْ،لِقَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: أَلاّٰ تُكَلِّمَ النّٰاسَ ثَلاٰثَةَ أَيّٰامٍ إِلاّٰ رَمْزاً [1]».

99-_1- (Tafsir al-Nu‘mānī), with its isnad, from al-Sadiq (peace be upon him): “Amir al-Mu’minin (peace be upon him), when they asked him about the meaning of revelation (wahy), said: Among it is the revelation of prophethood, among it is the revelation of inspiration, and among it is the revelation of gesture—and he continued until he said—As for the revelation of gesture, it is His—Mighty and Majestic—word: ‘So he went forth to his people from his place of worship, then he made signs to them that they should glorify (Allah) morning and evening,’ meaning: he gestured to them, due to His saying: ‘that you shall not speak to men for three days except by signs.’”

Qur’an 3:41 (M. H. Shakir): He said: My Lord! appoint a sign for me. Said He: Your sign is that you shall not speak to men for three days except by signs; and remember your Lord much and glorify (Him) in the evening and the morning.

قوله تعالى:

وَ كٰانَ يَأْمُرُ أَهْلَهُ بِالصَّلاٰةِ وَ الزَّكٰاةِ وَ كٰانَ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِ مَرْضِيًّا [55]

Qur’an 19:55 (M. H. Shakir): And he enjoined on his family prayer and alms and was one in whom his Lord was well pleased.

99-_2- (دَعَائِمُ الْإِسْلاَمِ):عَنِ الْإِمَامِ الصَّادِقِ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ)أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ: يٰا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ وَ أَهْلِيكُمْ نٰاراً [2]،قَالَ النَّاسُ:يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ،كَيْفَ نَقِي أَنْفُسَنَا وَ أَهْلِينَا؟قَالَ:اِعْمَلُوا الْخَيْرَ،وَ ذَكِّرُوا بِهِ»

99-_2- (Da‘ā’im al-Islām): From Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) that he said: “When this verse was revealed: ‘O you who believe! Save yourselves and your families from a fire’ [Qur’an 66:6], the people said: O Messenger of Allah, how do we protect ourselves and our families? He said: Do good, and remind [them] of it.”

Qur’an 66:6 (M. H. Shakir): O you who believe! save yourselves and your families from a fire whose fuel is men and stones; over it are angels stern and strong, they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them, and do as they are commanded.
