صنف المؤلف أولا تفسير (الهادي) وبعد (١٨) عاما فرغ من تفسير (البرهان) ، إذ إنه فرغ من تفسير (الهادي) سنة ١٠٧٧ ه‌ ، وفرغ من تفسير (البرهان) في اليوم الثالث من شهر ذي الحجة الحرام سنة ١٠٩٥ ه‌ ، كما ذكر في خاتمة هذا التفسير.

When did the author complete the two tafsirs?

The author first completed the tafsīr titled al-Hādī, and after eighteen years, he finished Tafsīr al-Burhān. He completed al-Hādī in the year 1077 AH, and he concluded Tafsīr al-Burhān on the third day of the month of Dhū al-Ḥijjah in the year 1095 AH, as he mentioned at the end of this tafsīr.
