55. آزﻣﻮن اﻧﺒﯿﺎ و اوﻟﯿﺎ در ﻣﻮرد اﻣﺎم ﺣﺴﯿﻦ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم

ﺳﯿﺪ اﺑﻦ ﻃﺎووس در ﻓﺮازي از ﻗﻨﻮت اﻣﺎم ﺣﺴﯿﻦ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم ﻧﻘﻞ ﮐﺮده ﮐﻪ آن ﺣﻀﺮت در ﻗﻨﻮت ﺧﻮد ﻋﺮﺿﻪ ﻣﯽ داﺷﺖ:

وَأﻋِﺬْ أوﻟﯿﺎءَكَ ﻣِﻦ اﻹﻓﺘِﺘﺎنِ ﺑﯽ؛

ﺑﺎر ﺧﺪاﯾﺎ! اوﻟﯿﺎي ﺧﻮد را از اﻣﺘﺤﺎن ﺷﺪن ﺑﻪ وﺳﯿﻠﻪ ي ﻣﻦ ﻧﮕﻬﺪار(1).

ﺷﺐ ﭘﻨﺞ ﺷﻨﺒﻪ 23/12/80 ﺑﺮاﺑﺮ 29 ذي ﺣﺠﻪ اﻟﺤﺮام 1422 ﻗﻤﺮي، آﯾﻪ اﻟﻠّﻪ ﺣﺎج ﺳﯿﺪ ﺻﺎدق ﺷﯿﺮازي در ﺿﻤﻦ ﺳﺨﻨﺮاﻧﯽ اش ﺑﺮاي وﻋّﺎظ اﺻﻔﻬﺎن، ﻓﺮاز ﺑﺎﻻ را

ﻋﻨﻮان ﮐﺮدﻧﺪ و ﻓﺮﻣﻮدﻧﺪ: ﺑﻪ ﻧﻈﺮ ﻣﯽ رﺳﺪ ﮐﻪ ﻫﻤﻪ ي اﻧﺒﯿﺎء و اوﻟﯿﺎء در ﻣﻮرد اﻣﺎم ﺣﺴﯿﻦ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم اﻣﺘﺤﺎن ﺷﺪﻧﺪ: (1 ﺣﻀﺮت آدم ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم در ﺑﺮاﺑﺮ ﻧﺎم آن ﺣﻀﺮت اﻣﺘﺤﺎن ﺷﺪ، اﺷﮑﺶ ﺟﺎري ﺷﺪ.

(2 ﺣﻀﺮت ﻧﻮح ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم ﭼﻮن وارد دﺷﺖ ﮐﺮﺑﻼ ﺷﺪ، ﮐﺸﺘﯽ دﭼﺎر اﺿﻄﺮاب ﺷﺪ ﺗﺎ ﺟﺎﯾﯽ ﮐﻪ ﺣﻀﺮت ﻧﻮح ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم ﺗﺮﺳﯿﺪ ﮐﻪ ﮐﺸﺘﯽ ﻏﺮق ﺷﻮد.

ﮐﺮﺑﻼ دﺷﺖ ﻫﻤﻮاري ﺑﻮد و اﻣﮑﺎن ﻧـﺪاﺷﺖ ﮐﻪ آﻧﺠﺎ ﺣﺎﻟﺖ ﮔﺮداب ﭘﯿﺶ آﯾـﺪ و ﺣﻀـﺮت ﻧﻮح ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴـﻼم ﮐﺴـﯽ ﻧﺒﻮد ﮐﻪ ﺑﺪون دﻟﯿﻞ دﭼﺎر ﺧﻮف ﺷﻮد.

ﺣﻀﺮت ﻧﻮح ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم اﻣﺘﺤﺎن ﺷﺪ و ﻓﻬﻤﯿﺪ ﮐﻪ ﮐﺸﺘﯽ او ﮐﺸﺘﯽ ﻧﺠﺎت ﻧﯿﺴﺖ، اﻣﺎم ﺣﺴﯿﻦ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم ﮐﺸﺘﯽ ﻧﺠﺎت اﺳﺖ. (3 ﺣﻀﺮت اﺑﺮاﻫﯿﻢ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم اﻣﺘﺤﺎن ﺷﺪ ﮐﻪ آﯾﺎ اﺳﻤﺎﻋﯿﻞ ﺧﻮد را ﻓﺪا ﮐﻨﺪ، ﯾﺎ ذﺑﺢ ﻋﻈﯿﻢ، ﺣﻀﺮت ﺣﺴﯿﻦ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم را؟

(4 رﺳﻮل اﮐﺮم ﺻـﻠﯽ اﷲ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ و آﻟﻪ اﻣﺘﺤﺎن ﺷﺪ ﮐﻪ آﯾﺎ اﺑﺮاﻫﯿﻢ را ﺑﺮﮔﺰﯾﻨﺪ ﯾﺎ اﻣﺎم ﺣﺴـﯿﻦ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴـﻼم را؟ ﺳﺮاﻧﺠﺎم اﺑﺮاﻫﯿﻢ را ﻓﺪا ﮐﺮد و اﻣﺎم ﺣﺴﯿﻦ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم را ﺑﺮﮔﺰﯾﺪ.

(5 ﺣﻀﺮت اﺑﻮاﻟﻔﻀﻞ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم اﻣﺘﺤﺎن ﺷﺪ ﮐﻪ آﯾﺎ ﭘﯿﺶ از اﻣﺎم ﺣﺴﯿﻦ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم آب ﺑﻨﻮﺷﺪ، ﺗﺎ ﺑﺘﻮاﻧﺪ ﺑﺎ ﺻﻼﺑﺖ ﺑﯿﺸﺘﺮ در ﺑﺮاﺑﺮ دﺷﻤﻦ ﻣﻘﺎوﻣﺖ ﮐﻨﺪ ﯾﺎ ﻧﻪ؟

(6 ﺣﻀﺮت زﯾﻨﺐ ﻋﻠﯿﻬﺎاﻟﺴﻼم اﻣﺘﺤﺎن ﺷﺪ ﮐﻪ آﯾﺎ اﻣﺮ اﻣﺎم را اﻃﺎﻋﺖ ﮐﻨﺪ ﯾﺎ از ﭘﯿﮑﺮ ﻣﻘﺪس آن ﺣﻀﺮت ﺟﺪا ﻧﺸﻮد.

55. The Trial of the Prophets and Saints Concerning Imam Husain (a.s.)

Sayyid Ibn Tāwūs narrates in a passage from the qunūt (supplication) of Imam Husain (a.s.) that the Imam would say in his supplication:

“And protect Your friends from being tested through me.”

O Lord! Protect Your chosen ones from being tried through me. 【1】

On Thursday night, the 23rd of the 12th month of the year 1380 (equal to the 29th of Dhu’l-Ḥijja 1422 AH), Ayatullah Haj Sayyid Ṣādiq Shīrāzī, during a speech for the preachers of Isfahan, quoted the above phrase and said:

“It appears that all the prophets and saints were tested in regard to Imam Husain (a.s.):

1.         Prophet Adam (a.s.) was tested upon hearing the name of Imam Husain, and his tears began to flow.

2.         When Prophet Noah (a.s.) entered the plain of Karbala, his ark was thrown into turmoil to the extent that he feared it would sink. Yet Karbala was a flat plain, where no whirlpool should have formed, and Prophet Noah was not a person who would be afraid without reason. He was tested and realized that his ark was not the true Ark of Salvation, but Imam Husain (a.s.) is the Ark of Salvation.

3.         Prophet Ibrahim (a.s.) was tested about whether to offer Ismail in sacrifice, or the “Great Sacrifice,” that is, Imam Husain (a.s.).

4.         The Noble Messenger (s.a.w.a.) was tested to choose between Ibrahim, his own son, or Imam Husain (a.s.); he ultimately offered Ibrahim and chose Imam Husain (a.s.).

5.         Abul-Faḍl al-‘Abbas (a.s.) was tested as to whether he should drink water before fighting, in order to gain more strength to stand firm against the enemy, or not.

6.         Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) was tested whether she would obey the order of the Imam or remain beside his blessed, lifeless body.”*
