80. ﻋﺮوﺳﯽ در ﺷﺐ ﻋﺎﺷﻮرا

در ﻣﻨﻄﻘﻪ ي ﺳـﮑﻤﻦ آﺑـﺎد ﺷﻬﺮﺳـﺘﺎن ﺧـﻮي، ﮔﺮوﻫﯽ از ﻣﺮدم آن ﻣﻨﻄﻘﻪ در ﻣـﺎه ﻣﺤﺮّم ﺑﻨـﺎي ﻋﺮوﺳـﯽ ﻣﯽ ﮔﺬارﻧـﺪ و ﻋﻤـﺪاً ﺷـﺐ ﻋﺎﺷﻮرا را ﺷﺐ زﻓﺎف اﻧﺘﺨﺎب ﻣﯽ ﮐﻨﻨﺪ. ﻧﺎﮔﻬﺎن ﺷـﺒﺎﻧﻪ ﺳـﯿﻞ ﻣﯽ آﯾﺪ، ﻋﺮوس و داﻣﺎد و ﻗﺴﻤﺘﯽ از اﻏﻨﺎم و اﺣﺸﺎم و ﭼﻨﺪ ﻧﻔﺮ دﯾﮕﺮ را ﺳﯿﻞ ﺑﺎ ﺧﻮد ﺑﺮده و ﻫﻼك ﻣﯽ ﮐﻨﺪ(1).

80. A wedding on the night of ʿĀshūrā

In the region of Sekmanābād, in the district of Khoy, a group of people from that area used to organize weddings during the month of Muḥarram, and they would intentionally choose the night of ʿĀshūrā as the night of consummation. Suddenly, during the night, a flood came and swept away the bride and groom, along with part of the livestock and a few other people, leading to their deaths.
