O Proof of Allah
Come into the world, O Proof of Allah; behold a Day of Resurrection. Look upon the garden of the Prophet (s.a.w.a.), laid waste by the icy wind of autumn.
Look upon the violet marks upon the face of the daughter of Zahra (a.s.); Come to Karbala and witness the Resurrection, behold this spreading calamity.
Look upon the plundering within the sanctuary of Divine Majesty; So fervent is the marketplace of love, O king of the age,
That the cash price of life itself is insignificant for the merchandise of union. The world of possibility has never seen such a transaction.
The seller is Imam Husain (a.s.), the commodity is existence itself, and the buyer is Allah. Come, behold the merchandise, look upon the seller and see the buyer.
To a mother, a child is like the soul within the body; A mother abandons all comfort for the sake of her child.
Yet for Islam and the propagation of the religion of the Prophet (s.a.w.a.), Layla became so enraptured that she sacrificed Ali al-Akbar (a.s.).
Behold the power of love; look upon the submission of maternal affection.
The thirsty King became resolute in spreading the message of Islam; For preserving the independence of religion, he was slain by the vile.
Do not say that the King died and that the mission diminished after his martyrdom; In place of the King of Religion, the commander of the caravan of captives arose.
Behold the station of Zaynab (a.s.); look upon the loyalty of sisterhood.
The Imam Husain (a.s.) whom the Prophet of Abṭaḥ (s.a.w.a.) called his beloved, Whose presence brought joy and happiness to the King—
In the land of Karbala, the enemies severed him limb from limb. At the moment of death, the Prophet (s.a.w.a.) was concerned for his community, and his son—
Was slain by that very community; behold the community and behold the Prophet (s.a.w.a.).

One carried away his head to Rayy to kindle the fire of hatred; Another stole his garments and abandoned faith and religion.
Another tore away that blood-stained shirt, already ripped into a hundred pieces; For the sake of a ring, another cut off the finger of the King of Religion.
Behold the loyalty of the camel-driver; look upon the principles of servitude.
The wicked tyrants blocked the flowing water; The cry of “al-‘Aṭash! al-‘Aṭash!” rose from that plain to the Green Dome.
Not only Akbar (a.s.) and Asghar (a.s.) drank the cup of death while thirsty; Even the renowned Abbas (a.s.), at the moment of death, suffered from thirst.
He felt ashamed before Sukaynah (a.s.), the precious legacy of Haydar (a.s.); Behold this remembrance.
With royal dignity, he served as commander of the army. Though the hands of the commander were severed, his resolve only increased.
Never should humiliation from the enemy reach the King of Kings. Out of chivalry, he sprinkled blood instead of water upon the path of the King.
In the plain of love, behold the commander and behold his obedience.
Many shameless killers and nurturers of hatred will come into the world, But none more disgraceful than Yazid, the apostate and unbeliever.
O Lord, to what extent did that ill-fated wretch carry his shamelessness? He had killed Imam Husain (a.s.), yet he offered a handful of gold as blood-money.

Behold the deeds of the shameless Yazid; look upon his evil destiny.
“Husaini,” the heavenly one, saw the world of Divine Majesty in mourning; He saw the world transformed into the River Jihun through tears.
He recited this poem and saw the world changed; He saw the Beloved of Allah immersed in blood.
Yet Allah did not lay the world in ruin—behold His judgment and decree.
