Concerning the special characteristics of that noble one (a.s.) related to the Glorious Qur'an, and it contains five objectives
Title Eight : Concerning the special characteristics of that noble one (a.s.) related to the Glorious Qur'an, and it contains five objectives.
The Existence of Imam Husain (a.s.) is Like the Book of Allah
Indication
First Objective:
That noble one (a.s.) himself is the speaking Word of Allah (Kalaam Allah al-Naatiq), and his existence is like the Book of Allah (Kalaam Allah). He is the interpreter and explainer of the Divine Word, and the two are never separated.
Both are the trusts left behind by the Holy Prophet Mohammed (s.a.w.a.) among the Ummah.
However, Imam Husain (a.s.) possesses a special distinction in the matter of being entrusted to the Ummah, namely that the Holy Prophet Mohammed (s.a.w.a.) took him up with himself onto the pulpit and said:
“O people! This is Imam Husain (a.s.) ibn Ali (a.s.), so recognize him and give him precedence over all others.” [985]
Then he said:
“O Allah, I entrust him to You and to the righteous ones of my community.” [986]
Thus, that noble one (a.s.) is the trust of the Messenger of Allah Mohammed (s.a.w.a.) in the care of the entire Ummah, including even those who were not present during that time.
Indeed, he is also a trust placed in our care.
Therefore, O Ummah of the Messenger of Allah Mohammed (s.a.w.a.), carefully examine yourselves concerning the preservation of this trust.
