Qur’an 2:144 (M. H. Shakir): Indeed We see the turning of your face to heaven, so We shall surely turn you to a qiblah which you shall like; turn then your face towards the Sacred Mosque, and wherever you are, turn your faces towards it; and those who have been given the Book most surely know that it is the truth from their Lord; and Allah is not at all heedless of what they do.
99-/681 _1- Muhammad b. Ya‘qub—from ‘Ali b. Ibrahim—from his father—from Hammad—from Hariz—from Zurara—from Abu Ja‘far (peace be upon him), said: When you face the qiblah with your face, do not turn your face away from the qiblah lest your prayer be invalidated; for Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said to His Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) in the obligatory prayer: “So turn your face toward the Sacred Mosque, and wherever you are turn your faces toward it.” And be humble with your gaze, and do not raise it to the sky; rather, let it be in line with your face toward the place of your prostration.
99-/682 _2- Al-‘Ayyashi—from Hariz, Abu Ja‘far (peace be upon him) said: Face the qiblah with your face, and do not turn your face away from [1] the qiblah lest your prayer be invalidated; for Allah says to His Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) in the obligatory prayer: “So turn your face toward the Sacred Mosque, and wherever you are turn your faces toward it.”
Qur’an 2:146–147 (M. H. Shakir):
Those to whom We have given the Book recognize him as they recognize their sons; and a party of them most surely conceal the truth while they know.
The truth is from your Lord, therefore you should not be of the doubters.
99-/683 _3- Muhammad b. Ya‘qub—from a number of our companions—from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Khalid—from his father, who raised it—from Muhammad b. Dawud al-Ghanawi—from al-Asbagh [b.] Nubata—from the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), said: As for the companions of the left, they are the Jews and the Christians. Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says: “Those to whom We have given the Book recognize him as they recognize their sons”—they recognize Muhammad and the wilayah in the Torah and the Gospel just as they recognize their sons in their dwellings—“and surely a group of them indeed conceal the truth while they know. The truth is from your Lord”—that you are the Messenger sent to them—“so do not be among the doubters.”
