The Virtue of Surah Al-Qamar

99-/10256 _1- ابْنُ بَابَوَيْهِ:بِإِسْنَادِهِ،عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خَلِيفَةَ،عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ)،قَالَ: «مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَةَ اِقْتَرَبَتِ السّٰاعَةُ أَخْرَجَهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ قَبْرِهِ عَلَى نَاقَةٍ مِنْ نُوقِ الْجَنَّةِ».

99-/10256 – Ibn Bābawayh: Through his chain from Yazīd ibn Khalīfah, from Abū ʿAbdillāh (peace be upon him), he said: “Whoever recites Sūrat Iqtarabat al-Sāʿah (The Hour has drawn near), Allāh will raise him from his grave mounted on a she-camel from the camels of Paradise.”

99-/10257 _2- وَ مِنْ(خَوَاصِّ الْقُرْآنِ):رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ(صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ)،أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «مَنْ قَرَأَ هَذِهِ السُّورَةَ بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَ وَجْهُهُ كَالْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ،مُسْفِراً عَلَى وَجْهِ الْخَلاَئِقِ،وَ مَنْ قَرَأَهَا كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ كَانَ أَفْضَلَ،وَ مَنْ كَتَبَهَا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَقْتَ صَلاَةِ الظُّهْرِ وَ جَعَلَهَا فِي عِمَامَتِهِ أَوْ تَعَلَّقَهَا،كَانَ وَجِيهاً أَيْنَمَا قَصَدَ وَ طَلَبَ».

99-/10257 – From Khawāṣṣ al-Qurʾān: It is narrated from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and his family) that he said: “Whoever recites this surah [i.e., Iqtarabat al-Sāʿah], Allah the Exalted will resurrect him on the Day of Judgment with his face radiant like the full moon, shining brightly before all of creation. And whoever recites it every night, that is even better. And whoever writes it on the day of Friday at the time of the ẓuhr prayer and places it in his turban or wears it, he shall be honored wherever he goes and whatever he seeks.”

99-/10258 _3- وَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ(صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ): «مَنْ كَتَبَهَا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَقْتَ الظُّهْرِ وَ تَرَكَهَا فِي عِمَامَتِهِ،أَوْ عَلَّقَهَا عَلَيْهِ،كَانَ وَجِيهاً عِنْدَ النَّاسِ مَحْبُوباً».

99-/10258 – The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and his family) said: “Whoever writes it [i.e., Sūrat Iqtarabat al-Sāʿah] on Friday at the time of ẓuhr and keeps it in his turban or hangs it upon himself, he will be held in esteem among the people and be beloved.”

99-/10259 _4- وَ قَالَ الصَّادِقُ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ): «مَنْ كَتَبَهَا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عِنْدَ صَلاَةِ الظُّهْرِ وَ عَلَّقَهَا عَلَى عِمَامَتِهِ،كَانَ عِنْدَ النَّاسِ وَجِيهاً وَ مَقْبُولاً،وَ سَهُلَتْ عَلَيْهِ الْأُمُورُ الصَّعْبَةُ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى».

99-/10259 – Al-Ṣādiq (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever writes it [i.e., Sūrat Iqtarabat al-Sāʿah] on Friday at the time of the ẓuhr prayer and hangs it on his turban, he will be honored and accepted among the people, and difficult matters will be made easy for him by the permission of Allah, the Exalted.”
