Yusuf Ayah 111
He said: “Could that which comes from Allah be something by which Satan interferes?” He said: “Indeed, when Allah takes a servant as a messenger, He sends down upon him tranquility and dignity, so that what comes to him from Allah is like that which he sees with his very eye.”

99-/5428 _8- Abu Ja‘far ibn Jarir al-Tabari, with his chain to Abu ‘Ali al-Nahawandi, who said: Abu ‘Abd Allah Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Qasani narrated to us, who said: Muhammad ibn Sulayman narrated to us, who said: ‘Ali ibn Yusuf narrated to us, who said: My father narrated to me, from al-Mufaddal ibn ‘Umar, from Abu ‘Abd Allah (peace be upon him), who said: “A man came to the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) and complained to him about the length of the reign of injustice. The Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) said to him: ‘By Allah, what you hope for will not be until the false ones perish, the ignorant fade away, and the Godwary are secure; and it will be but a little before none of you will have a place for his foot, and until you shall be, to the people, more insignificant than a carcass is to its owner. While you are thus, Allah’s help and the victory will come—and it is the saying of my Lord, Mighty and Majestic, in His Book: Hatta idha istay’asa al-rusulu wa zannuu annahum qad kudhibuu ja’ahum nasruna [12:110]—Until when the messengers despaired and the people became certain that they were indeed told a lie, Our help came to them, and whom We pleased was delivered; and Our punishment is not averted from the guilty people (M. H. Shakir).’”
Al-Tabari mentioned this hadith in his book, in the chapters on al-Qa’im (peace be upon him).
The saying of the Exalted: Laqad kana fi qasasihim ‘ibratun li-uli al-albab … yu’minun [12:111]—Certainly there are signs in their stories for men of understanding. It is not a narrative invented, but a verification of what is before it and a distinct explanation of all things and a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe (M. H. Shakir). /5429 _1-
/5429 _1- And ‘Ali ibn Ibrahim said: Then Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said: “Certainly there are lessons in their stories for people of intellect.” “Not a narrative invented” means the Qur’an; “but a confirmation of what is before it” means from the books of the prophets; “and a detailed explanation of everything, and a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe.”
