در خصوصيات آن حضرت نسبت به افضل انبياء

خاموش محتشم كه دل سنگ آب شد بنياد صبر و خانه طاقت خراب شدخاموش محتشم كه از اين حرف سوزناك مرغ هوا و ماهي دريا كباب شدخاموش محتشم كه فلك بسكه خون گريست دريا هزار مرتبه گلگون حباب شدخاموش محتشم كه از اين شعر خون‌چكان در ديده اشك مستمعان خون ناب شدخاموش محتشم كه بسوز تو آفتاب از آه سرد ماتميان ماهتاب شدخاموش محتشم كه از اين نظم گريه‌خيز روي زمين به اشك جگرگون كباب شدخاموش محتشم كه ز ذكر غم حسين جبريل را ز روي پيمبر حجاب شدتا چرخ سفله بود خطائي چنين نكرد بر هيچ آفريده جفائي چنين نكرد [ صفحه 453]

Concerning the Special Qualities of That Noble One (a.s.) in Relation to the Greatest of the Prophets

“Be silent, Muḥtasham, for even a heart of stone has melted into water; The foundation of patience and the house of endurance have been destroyed.”

“Be silent, Muḥtasham, for through these burning words, The birds of the sky and the fish of the sea have been consumed in grief.”

“Be silent, Muḥtasham, for the heavens wept so much blood That the sea became crimson in its waves a thousand times over.”

“Be silent, Muḥtasham, for from this blood-dripping poem, The tears in the eyes of the listeners became pure blood.”

“Be silent, Muḥtasham, for through your burning grief, the sun itself Has become like the moon from the cold sighs of the mourners.”

“Be silent, Muḥtasham, for through this tear-provoking poem, The face of the earth has been scorched by blood-coloured tears.”

“Be silent, Muḥtasham, for through the mention of the grief of Imam Husain (a.s.), A veil came between Jibrīl and the face of the Prophet (s.a.w.a.).”

“So long as this lowly heaven has existed, it has never committed such a wrong; Upon no created being has it inflicted such an injustice.”
