37. دﻓﻊ وﺑﺎ ﺑﺎ ﺗﻮﺳّﻞ ﺑﻪ ﺣﻀﺮت ﺳﯿﺪاﻟﺸﻬﺪاء ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم

روز ﭘﻨﺞ ﺷﻨﺒﻪ 27 ذﯾﻘﻌﺪه اﻟﺤﺮام 1434 ﺑﺮاﺑﺮ 11/7/92 ﺷﻤﺴـﯽ، ﺣﻀﺮت ﺣﺠﻪ اﻻﺳﻼم واﻟﻤﺴﻠﻤﯿﻦ آﻗﺎي ﺳﯿﺪ ﮐﺎﻇﻢ ﺷﺎﻫﺮودي از ﭘـﺪر ﺑﺰرﮔﻮارﺷﺎن آﯾﻪ اﻟﻠّﻪ ﺣﺎج ﺳـﯿﺪ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﺷﺎﻫﺮودي، از ﻣﺮاﺟﻊ ﺑﺰرﮔﻮار ﺗﻘﻠﯿﺪ، ﻧﻘﻞ ﮐﺮد ﮐﻪ در ﮔﺬﺷـﺘﻪ ﻫﻨﮕﺎﻣﯽ ﮐﻪ در ﻧﺠﻒ اﺷـﺮف وﺑﺎ ﺷﯿﻮع ﭘﯿﺪا ﻣﯽ ﮐﺮد، ﻣﺮدم ﻣﻘﺎﺑﻞ درب ﺧﺎﻧﻪ ﺷﺎن را ﺟﺎرو ﻣﯽ ﮐﺮدﻧﺪ، ﺣﺼﯿﺮ ﻣﯽ اﻧﺪاﺧﺘﻨﺪ و روﺿﻪ ﺑﺮﮔﺰار ﻣﯽ ﮐﺮدﻧﺪ و وﺑﺎ ﮐﺎﻣﻼً رﻓﻊ ﻣﯽ ﺷﺪ و اﺣﺪي ﺑﻪ وﺑﺎ ﻣﺒﺘﻼ ﻧﻤﯽ ﺷﺪ.

37. Repelling an epidemic through tawassul to Hazrat Sayyid al-Shuhadāʾ (a.s.)

On Thursday, 27 Dhu al-Qa‘dah al-Haram 1434, corresponding to 11/7/1392 (solar calendar), Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Aqa Sayyid Kazim Shahroudi narrated from his honorable father Ayatollah Haj Sayyid Muhammad Shahroudi, one of the great Maraji‘ of taqlid, that in the past, whenever cholera would break out in Najaf Ashraf, people would sweep in front of their house, spread out a mat, and hold a mourning gathering (majlis), and the cholera would be completely repelled, and no one would become afflicted by it.
