S 45 Ayat 34 to 37

45:34 And it shall be said: Today We forsake you as you neglected the meeting of this day of yours and your abode is the fire, and there are not for you any helpers.

45:35 That is because you took the communications of Allah for a jest and the life of this world deceived you. So on that day they shall not be brought forth from it, nor shall they be granted goodwill.

45:36 Therefore, to Allah is due (all) praise, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, the Lord of the worlds.

45:37 And to Him belongs greatness in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Mighty, the Wise.

[34-37] /9753 _1- Ali ibn Ibrahim, in his commentary on the saying of Allah, the Exalted:

"And it shall be said: Today We forsake you" (45:34), meaning We leave you. So, this "forgetting" refers to abandonment, "as you neglected the meeting of this day of yours, and your abode is the fire, and there are not for you any helpers."

"That is because you took the communications of Allah for a jest" (45:35), referring to the Imams (peace be upon them), meaning you denied them and mocked them.

"So on that day they shall not be brought forth from it", meaning from the Fire, "nor shall they be granted goodwill", meaning they will not be answered [in their pleas], nor will Allah accept them.

"Therefore, to Allah is due (all) praise, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, the Lord of the worlds" (45:36).

"And to Him belongs greatness", meaning absolute power, "in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Mighty, the Wise." (45:37)
