Surah al-Nasr Its Virtue

99-/11964 _1- ابْنُ بَابَوَيْهِ:بِإِسْنَادِهِ،عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ)،قَالَ: «مَنْ قَرَأَ(إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَ الْفَتْحُ)فِي نَافِلَةٍ أَوْ فَرِيضَةٍ،نَصَرَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى جَمِيعِ أَعْدَائِهِ،وَ جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَ مَعَهُ كِتَابٌ يَنْطِقُ،قَدْ أَخْرَجَهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ جَوْفِ قَبْرِهِ فِيهِ أَمَانٌ مِنْ حَرِّ [1]جَهَنَّمَ وَ مِنَ النَّارِ،وَ مِنْ زَفِيرِ جَهَنَّمَ،فَلاَ يَمُرُّ عَلَى شَيْءٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِلاَّ بَشَّرَهُ وَ أَخْبَرَهُ بِكُلِّ خَيْرٍ حَتَّى يَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ،وَ يُفْتَحُ لَهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا مِنْ أَسْبَابِ الْخَيْرِ مَا لَمْ يَتَمَنَّ وَ لَمْ يَخْطُرْ عَلَى قَلْبِهِ

99-/11964 _1- Ibn Babawayh, through his chain of transmission, from Abu ʿAbdillāh (peace be upon him), said: “Whoever recites ‘When there comes the help of Allah and the victory’ (Qur'an 110:1), whether in a supererogatory or obligatory prayer, Allah will grant him victory over all his enemies, and he shall come on the Day of Resurrection with a book that speaks, which Allah will have brought out from his grave, containing security from the heat of Hell and from the Fire, and from the roaring of Hell. Nothing he passes by on the Day of Resurrection except that it gives him glad tidings and informs him of all good, until he enters Paradise. And in this world, doors of goodness will be opened for him that he neither wished for nor ever crossed his mind.”

99-/11965 _2- وَ مِنْ(خَوَاصِّ الْقُرْآنِ):رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ(صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ)،أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «مَنْ قَرَأَ هَذِهِ السُّورَةَ أُعْطِيَ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ كَمَنْ شَهِدَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ(صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ)يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ،وَ مَنْ قَرَأَهَا فِي صَلاَةٍ وَ صَلَّى بِهَا بَعْدَ الْحَمْدِ،قُبِلَتْ صَلاَتُهُ مِنْهُ أَحْسَنَ قَبُولِ».

99-/11965 _2- And among the [special merits of the Qur'an]: It is narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) that he said: “Whoever recites this surah shall be granted a reward equal to that of one who witnessed with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) the Day of the Conquest of Makkah. And whoever recites it in prayer, reciting it after al-Ḥamd (Sūrat al-Fātiḥah), his prayer will be accepted from him with the best of acceptance.”

99-/11966 _3- وَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ(صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ): «مَنْ قَرَأَهَا فِي صَلاَتِهِ،قُبِلَتْ بِأَحْسَنِ قَبُولٍ».

99-/11966 _3- The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: “Whoever recites it in his prayer, it will be accepted with the best of acceptance.”

99-/11967 _4- وَ قَالَ الصَّادِقُ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ): «مَنْ قَرَأَهَا عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلاَةٍ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ،قُبِلَتْ مِنْهُ الصَّلاَةُ أَحْسَنَ قَبُولٍ».

99-/11967 _4- Al-Ṣādiq (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever recites it seven times after every prayer, his prayer will be accepted from him with the best of acceptance.”
