Sūrat Quraysh — Its Virtue.

99-/11912 _1- ابْنُ بَابَوَيْهِ:بِإِسْنَادِهِ،عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ،عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ)،قَالَ: «مَنْ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ قِرَاءَةِ(لِإِيْلاَفِ قُرَيْشٍ)بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى مَرْكَبٍ مِنْ مَرَاكِبِ الْجَنَّةِ حَتَّى يَقْعُدَ عَلَى مَوَائِدِ النُّورِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ».

99-/11912 _1- Ibn Bābawayh, through his chain of transmission, from Abū Baṣīr, from Abū ʿAbdillāh (peace be upon him), who said:

“Whoever increases their recitation of ‘For the accustomed security of Quraysh’ [Qur’an 106:1], Allah will raise him on the Day of Judgment on a mount from the mounts of Paradise until he sits at the tables of light on the Day of Judgment.”

99-/11913 _2- وَ مِنْ(خَوَاصِّ الْقُرْآنِ):رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ(صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ)أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «مَنْ قَرَأَ هَذِهِ السُّورَةَ أَعْطَاهُ اللَّهُ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ كَمَنْ طَافَ حَوْلَ الْكَعْبَةِ وَ اعْتَكَفَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ،وَ إِذَا قُرِئَتْ عَلَى طَعَامٍ يُخَافُ مِنْهُ كَانَ فِيهِ الشِّفَاءُ،وَ لَمْ يُؤْذِ آكِلَهُ أَبَداً».

99-/11913 _2- And among the special properties of the Qur’an, it is narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) that he said:

“Whoever recites this sūrah, Allah will grant him a reward like that of one who circumambulates the Kaʿbah and performs iʿtikāf in the Sacred Mosque. And if it is recited over food that is feared to be harmful, it will bring healing, and it will never harm the one who eats it.”

99-/11914 _3- وَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ(صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ): «مَنْ قَرَأَهَا عَلَى طَعَامٍ لَمْ يَرَ فِيهِ سُوءً أَبَداً».

99-/11914 _3- The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said:

“Whoever recites it over food, there will never be any harm in it.”

99-/11915 _4- وَ قَالَ الصَّادِقُ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ): «إِذَا قُرِئَتْ عَلَى طَعَامٍ يُخَافُ مِنْهُ كَانَ شِفَاءً مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ،وَ إِذَا قَرَأْتَهَا عَلَى مَاءٍ ثُمَّ رُشَّ الْمَاءُ عَلَى مَنْ أُشْغِلَ قَلْبُهُ بِالْمَرَضِ وَ لاَ يَدْرِي مَا سَبَبُهُ يَصْرِفُهُ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ».

99-/11915 _4- And al-Ṣādiq (peace be upon him) said:

“When it is recited over food that is feared to be harmful, it becomes a cure for every disease. And when it is recited over water, then the water is sprinkled on someone whose heart is troubled by an illness and does not know its cause, Allah will remove it from him.”
