The Prayers of the Angels for the Visitors

دعاي ملائكه از براي زوار

يازدهم: چون زيارت كند حضرت را نظر كند به او آن جناب، پس دعا كند در حقش، و خواهش نمايد از پدر و جدش كه از براي او طلب مغفرت نمايند [799] پس ملائكه از برايش دعا كنند و همه‌ي انبيا و مرسلين، و نوشته شود از برايش ثواب جميع عبادات، چنانكه گذشت، و مصافحه كنند با او ملائكه، و مهري بر صورتش زنند از نور عرش كه اين است زائر قبر حسين (عليه‌السلام) فرزند خاتم انبياء و سيد شهداء. [800] .دوازدهم: چون خواهد مراجعت نمايد به وطنش متابعت كنند او را چند صنف از ملائكه خصوصا جبرئيل، و ميكائيل و اسرافيل، و همان چهار هزار ملك، و هفتاد هزار كه گذشت، و بالخصوص دو ملك به نزد او آيند، و به او گويند: اي ولي خدا آمرزيده شدي و تو از حزب خدا و رسول (صلي الله عليه و آله)و اهل بيت رسول (صلي الله عليه و آله)هستي، و الله كه آتش را به چشم نخواهي ديد و تو را نخواهد خورد، و منادي ندا كند كه: خوشا به حال تو كه بهشت از براي تو است. [801] .سيزدهم: هر گاه وفات نمايد بعد از زيارت الي يكسال يا دو سال، آن ملائكه بر جنازه‌اش حاضر شوند، و از برايش طلب مغفرت نمايند [802] ، و حضرت حسين (عليه‌السلام) [ صفحه 278] او را زيارت كند در حال موت يا در شب اول قبر. [803] .پس اي كساني كه در قبر غريب و تنها خواهيد بود، و به وحشت آن مبتلا خواهيد شد، و كسي به زيارت شما نخواهد آمد، كه با شما مواجهه نمايد، بلكه اگر كسي به زيارت شما بيايد، نزديك قبر شما خواهد ايستاد به فاصله دو ذراع خاك و گل، پس هر گاه زيارت كني حسين (عليه‌السلام) را، البته آن جناب در آن حال به زيارت تو آيد به طريق مواجهه، و بر تو سلام خواهد كرد، پس آيا ديگر وحشتي و خوفي از براي تو باقي خواهد ماند؟ و هر چند بيشتر زيارت كرده باشي، و شوقت باو زياده باشد او هم مكرر به زيارت تو خواهد آمد، و تو را انس خواهد داد.

The Prayers of the Angels for the Visitors

Eleventh: When the visitor performs the visitation of the Imam, that noble Imam looks toward him, prays for him, and requests his father and grandfather to seek forgiveness for him. [799]

Then the angels pray for him, as do all the Prophets and Messengers.

The reward of all acts of worship is written for him, as mentioned previously.

The angels shake hands with him, and a seal from the light of the Throne is placed upon his face saying:

“This is a visitor of the grave of al-Ḥusain (ʿalayhi al-salām), the son of the Seal of the Prophets and the Master of the Martyrs.” [800]

Twelfth: When he intends to return to his homeland after the visitation, several groups of angels accompany him, especially Jibrāʾīl, Mīkāʾīl, and Isrāfīl, as well as the four thousand angels and the seventy thousand angels mentioned previously.

In particular, two angels come to him and say:

“O friend of Allah! You have been forgiven. You are among the party of Allah, His Messenger (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa ālihi), and the family of the Messenger (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa ālihi). By Allah, you shall never see the Fire with your eyes, nor shall it consume you.”

Then a caller proclaims:

“Glad tidings to you! Paradise belongs to you.” [801]

Thirteenth: If he passes away within one year or two years after the visitation, those angels will attend his funeral and seek forgiveness for him. [802]

And al-Ḥusain (ʿalayhi al-salām) will visit him at the time of death or during the first night in the grave. [803]

O you who will one day be strangers and alone in the grave, who will experience its loneliness and isolation, and for whom no one will come to visit face to face—for even if someone visits your grave, they will stand at a distance, separated from you by two cubits of earth and clay—

If you visit al-Ḥusain (ʿalayhi al-salām), then he himself will come to visit you at that time, face to face, and he will greet you with salām.

Then what loneliness or fear could remain for you?

And the more often you visit him, and the greater your longing for him becomes, the more often he will come to visit you, bringing you comfort and companionship.
