Ibrahim Ayah 14

سورة إبراهيم آية 14

وَلَنُسْكِنَنَّكُمُ الْأَرْضَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ ذٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامِي وَخَافَ وَعِيدِ [14]

And We will certainly make you dwell in the land after them; this is for him who fears My Majesty and fears My threat. (14:14, M. H. Shakir)

99- _1- تُحَفِ الْعُقُولِ:عَنِ الْإِمَامِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ)أَنَّهُ قَالَ-فِي حَدِيثٍ طَوِيلٍ-: «فَخَافُوا اللَّهَ أَيُّهَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ مِنَ الْبَيَاتِ خَوْفَ أَهْلِ التَّقْوَى،فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُولُ: ذٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خٰافَ مَقٰامِي وَ خٰافَ وَعِيدِ فَاحْذَرُوا زَهْرَةَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَ غُرُورَهَا وَ شُرُورَهَا،وَ تَذَكَّرُوا ضَرَرَ عَاقِبَةِ الْمَيْلِ إِلَيْهَا،فَإِنَّ زِينَتَهَا فِتْنَةٌ،وَ حُبَّهَا خَطِيئَةٌ».

99- Tuhaf al-‘Uqul (p. 273): From Imam Ali ibn al-Husayn (peace be upon him), who said—in a long tradition: So fear Allah, O believers, with the vigilant fear of those who are truly Godwary against a sudden visitation by night; for Allah says: “This is for him who fears My Majesty and fears My threat.” Therefore, beware the bloom of worldly life, and its delusion and its evils, and remember the harm of inclining toward it; for its ornament is a trial, and love of it is a sin.
