S 30 Ayat 19 to 20
The Words of Allah, the Exalted:
"He brings forth the living from the dead and brings forth the dead from the living, and gives life to the earth after its death; and thus shall you be brought forth. * And one of His signs is that He created you from dust, then lo! you are mortals (who) scatter." [Surat Ar-Rum 30:19-20, Translation: M. H. Shakir]
/8322 _1- ‘Ali ibn Ibrahim said regarding Allah’s saying: "He brings forth the living from the dead and brings forth the dead from the living" — he said: He brings forth the believer from the disbeliever, and He brings forth the disbeliever from the believer. And a similar hadith with this meaning has already been reported in Musnad form in Surat Al-An‘am. [3]
Regarding His saying: "And gives life to the earth after its death; and thus shall you be brought forth" — it is a refutation against the Dahriyah (materialists who deny resurrection).
Then He said: "And one of His signs is that He created you from dust, then lo! you are mortals (who) scatter." Meaning: you move about [4] on the earth. [Surat Ar-Rum 30:19-20, Translation: M. H. Shakir]
