The Virtue of Surah Al-Bayyenah

99-/11794 _1- بْنُ بَابَوَيْهِ:بِإِسْنَادِهِ،عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ،عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ)،قَالَ: «مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَةَ(لَمْ يَكُنْ)كَانَ بَرِيئاً مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ [1]،وَ أُدْخِلَ فِي دِينِ مُحَمَّدٍ(صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ)،وَ بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مُؤْمِناً،وَ حَاسَبَهُ حِسَاباً يَسِيراً».ا

99-/11794 Ibn Babawayh: through his chain, from Abu Bakr al-Hadrami, from Abu Ja’far (peace be upon him), who said: ”Whoever recites Surah (Lam Yakun) will be free from the polytheists[1], and he will be admitted into the religion of Muhammad (may Allah bless him and his family), and Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will raise him as a believer and take his account with ease."

99-/11795 _2- وَ مِنْ(خَوَاصِّ الْقُرْآنِ):رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ(صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ)أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «مَنْ قَرَأَ هَذِهِ السُّورَةَ كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ مَعَ خَيْرِ الْبَرِيَّةِ رَفِيقاً وَ صَاحِبَا،وَ هُوَ عَلِيٌّ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ)،وَ إِنْ كُتِبَتْ فِي إِنَاءٍ جَدِيدٍ وَ نَظَرَ فِيهَا صَاحِبُ اللَّقْوَةِ بِعَيْنَيْهِ بَرِىءَ مِنْهَا».

99-/11795 And from Khawass al-Qur’an: It is narrated from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and his family) that he said: ”Whoever recites this surah will be, on the Day of Judgment, a companion and associate of the best of creation, and that is Ali (peace be upon him). And if it is written in a new vessel and a person afflicted with facial paralysis (laqwah) looks at it with his eyes, he will be cured of it.”

99-/11796 _3- وَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ(صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ): «مَنْ كَتَبَهَا عَلَى خُبْزٍ رِقَاقٍ وَ أُطْعِمَهَا سَارِقٌ غُصَّ،وَ يَفْتَضِحُ مِنْ سَاعَتِهِ،وَ مَنْ قَرَأَهَا عَلَى خَاتَمٍ بِاسْمِ سَارِقٍ تَحَرَّكَ الْخَاتَمُ».

99-/11796 _3- The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) said: "Whoever writes it on thin bread and feeds it to a thief, he will choke and be exposed immediately. And whoever recites it over a ring inscribed with the thief’s name, the ring will move."

99-/11797 _4- وَ قَالَ الصَّادِقُ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ): «مَنْ كَتَبَهَا وَ عَلَّقَهَا عَلَيْهِ،وَ كَانَ فِيهِ يَرَقَانٌ [2]،زَالَ عَنْهُ،وَ إِذَا عُلِّقَتْ عَلَى بَيَاضٍ بِالْعَيْنِ،وَ الْبَرَصِ،وَ شُرِبَ مَاؤُهَا،دَفَعَهُ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ،وَ إِنْ شَرِبَتْ مَاءَهَا الْحَوَامِلُ نَفَعَتْها،وَ سَلَّمَتْهَا مِنْ سُمُومِ الطَّعَامَ،وَ إِذَا كُتِبَتْ عَلَى جَمِيعِ الْأَوْرَامِ أَزَالَتْهَا بِقُدْرَةِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى».

99-/11797 _4- Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever writes it and wears it, and is afflicted with scabies (yarqān), it will be removed from him. And if it is hung upon someone with leukoderma (bayāḍ al-ʿayn) or vitiligo (baraṣ), and its water is drunk, Allah will drive it away from him. And if pregnant women drink its water, it benefits them and protects them from food poisoning. And if it is written upon all kinds of swellings, it will remove them by the power of Allah, the Exalted."
