81. Expressing joy on the day of ʿĀshūrā
The late Mullā ʿAbbās, a reciter of mourning gatherings, narrated that in the village of “Rayḥān Lū,” one of the wicked individuals expressed joy on the day of ʿĀshūrā and made people laugh.
He rode his horse around playfully and caused people to laugh. A few days later, he fell ill and passed away.
When he was placed in the grave, the grave caught fire, and a greenish flame rose from it.
The local religious scholar ordered the grave to be reopened. When they opened it, they saw that the corpse had completely burned and turned to ashes.
