Special Rulings Concerning the Ziyārah of that Noble One (a.s.)

احكام خاص براي زيارت آن حضرت

باب پنجم: در احكام خاصي كه از براي زيارت آن جناب است، و آن بسيار است، از آن جمله اينكه هر عملي واجب يا مستحب در وقت خوف ساقط مي‌شود، و لكن در اين عمل چند روايت است بر اينكه ساقط نمي‌شود، چنانكه در بحار و غير آن به اسانيد معتبر از معاوية بن وهب روايت نموده است، كه حضرت صادق (عليه‌السلام) فرمودند به من كه: اي معاويه وامگذار زيارت حسين (عليه‌السلام) را به جهت خوف، زيرا كه اگر كسي ترك نمايد آنرا، حسرت‌ها بيند، كه آرزو كند كاش در آنجا باشد. [869] .و در خبر ديگر از محمد بن مسلم مروي است، كه حضرت باقر (عليه‌السلام) فرمود كه: آيا نزد قبر حسين (عليه‌السلام) مي‌روي؟ عرض كرد: بلي با خوف و ترس، فرمود: هر چند [ صفحه 295] خوف آن بيشتر باشد ثوابش بيشتر است، و هر كس با ترس به زيارت رود در روز قيامت ايمن گردد، و آمرزيده شود، و پيغمبر (صلي الله عليه و آله) خدا به زيارت او آيد، و از برايش دعا نمايد، و برگردد با نعمت و فضل خدا، و به او بدي نرسد. [870] .و در روايت ديگر از ابن بكير منقول است، كه گفت: عرض كردم به حضرت صادق (عليه‌السلام) كه: من ميل بسيار دارم به زيارت قبر حسين (عليه‌السلام)، پس چون بيرون مي‌روم به سوي زيارت، قلبم ترسان است تا برمي‌گردم از ترس سلطان و عمالش، فرمود: اي پسر بكير آيا دوست نمي‌داري كه خدا ببيند تو را ترسناك در راه ما؟ آيا نمي‌داني كه [هر كسي] ترسناك شود در راه ما، خداوند او را در سايه‌ي عرش خود جاي دهد؟ و با حسين (عليه‌السلام) هم صحبت شود در زير عرش، و از فزع روز قيامت ايمن گردد، در وقتي كه همه در فزع باشند، و ملائكه، او را قوت دهند، و تسكين قلب او نمايند به بشارت. Special Rulings Concerning the Ziyārah of that Noble One (a.s.)

Chapter Five: Concerning the special rulings that pertain to the ziyārah of that noble one (a.s.), and they are many.

Among them is that every obligatory or recommended act is waived in times of fear. However, concerning this act there are several narrations indicating that it is not waived.

As narrated in Bihar and other works through reliable chains from Muʿawiyah ibn Wahb, that Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.) said to me:

“O Muʿawiyah! Do not abandon the ziyārah of Imam Husain (a.s.) because of fear, for if someone abandons it, he will see such regrets that he will wish he had been there.” [869]

And in another narration from Muhammad ibn Muslim, it is reported that Imam al-Baqir (a.s.) said:

“Do you visit the grave of Imam Husain (a.s.)?”

I replied:

“Yes, despite fear and apprehension.”

He said:

“The greater the fear,

the greater the reward. Whoever visits him while afraid will be granted security on the Day of Resurrection, his sins will be forgiven, and the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) will come to visit him, supplicate for him, and he will return with the blessing and bounty of Allah, and no harm shall reach him.” [870]

And in another narration from Ibn Bukayr, he said:

I said to Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.):

“I have a great desire to visit the grave of Imam Husain (a.s.), but whenever I set out for the ziyārah my heart remains fearful until I return, because of the ruler and his agents.”

The Imam (a.s.) replied:

“O son of Bukayr! Do you not love that Allah should see you fearful for our sake?

Do you not know that whoever experiences fear in our path, Allah will place him beneath the shade of His Throne?

He will be the companion of Imam Husain (a.s.) beneath the Throne.

He will be secure from the terror of the Day of Resurrection when all others are in terror.

And the angels will strengthen him and calm his heart with glad tidings.” [871]
