ملاطفت آن حضرت در شب و روز عاشورا

[باب الملاطفة] مهرباني كردن به اولاد و ارحام، خصوصا دختران بسيار فضيلت دارد و از آنحضرت احسن و الطف آن به عمل آمد نسبت به حضرت سكينه، كه او را بوسيد و دست بر سرش كشيد و او را تسلي داد، ولي اين امر بر حزن و اندوه آن صغيره مي‌افزود. [256] .

Showing kindness and affection to one's children and relatives, especially daughters, possesses great virtue.

The most beautiful and tender example of this was manifested by Imam Husain (a.s.) toward Lady Sukaynah (a.s.). He kissed her, placed his hand upon her head, and comforted and consoled her.

However, this act only increased the grief and sorrow of that young girl. [256] .
