خصوصيات حضرت يحيي با حسين

باب يحيي (عليه‌السلام): بدان كه از براي حضرت يحيي با حضرت حسين (عليه‌السلام) خصوصيتي است از سه جهت: اول: اين كه در اخبار وارد شده كه از براي حسين (عليه‌السلام) موازات با يحيي بوده است در چند امر. [1396] .دوم: اين كه در حديث است كه حضرت پيغمبر (صلي الله عليه و آله) فرمود كه: در جهنم منزلي است كه مستحق آن نيست احدي، مگر قاتل يحيي بن زكريا و قاتل حسين (عليه‌السلام). [1397] . سوم: اين كه حسين (عليه‌السلام) در سفر كربلا مكرر يحيي را ذكر مي‌كرد و هر وقت فرود مي‌آمد در منزلي، يا بار مي‌كرد از منزلي [1398] .و به جهت اين خصوصيات در مقام تطبيق سه امر ذكر مي‌كنيم: اول بيان موازات آن حضرت با يحيي دوم آنچه در وقت نزول و ارتحال ذكر مي‌فرمود، سوم در بيان زيادات مصيبات آن حضرت به كيفيتي كه سابقا اشاره شد. The Special Characteristics Shared by Prophet Yaḥyā (a.s.) and Imam Husain (a.s.)

Chapter of Yaḥyā (a.s.):

Know that there is a special connection between Prophet Yaḥyā (a.s.) and Imam Husain (a.s.) in three respects:

First: It is narrated in the traditions that Imam Husain (a.s.) corresponded with Yaḥyā (a.s.) in several matters. [1396]

Second: It is narrated in a hadith that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said:

“There is a place in Hell which no one deserves except the killer of Yaḥyā ibn Zakariyyā (a.s.) and the killer of Imam Husain (a.s.).” [1397]

Third: During the journey to Karbalāʾ, Imam Husain (a.s.) repeatedly mentioned Yaḥyā (a.s.), and whenever he halted at a station or departed from a station, he would mention him. [1398]

Because of these special connections, we shall discuss three matters in comparison:

First: The correspondence and parallels between that noble one (a.s.) and Yaḥyā (a.s.).

Second: What he (a.s.) would mention at the times of stopping and departing during the journey.

Third: An explanation of the additional sufferings and calamities of that noble one (a.s.), in the manner previously indicated.
