مجلس عيسي بن مريم است...

مجلس شانزدهم: مجلس عيسي بن مريم است كه مرثيه‌خوان شير بود و مستمع عيسي (عليه‌السلام) و حواريين، و آن در وقتي بود كه به كربلا گذاشتند در ايام سياحت، پس شير غضباني سر راه بر ايشان گرفت عيسي (عليه‌السلام) پيش رفت و گفت اي شير چرا راه را بر ما بسته‌اي؟ او عرض كرد: كه نمي‌گذارم عبور كنيد از اين زمين مگر اينكه لعنت كنيد يزيد را كه كشنده‌ي فرزند پيغمبر خاتم يعني محمد(صلي الله عليه و آله) و فرزند ولي خدا علي (عليه‌السلام) است. The session is for Jesus son of Mary...

The sixteenth gathering was that of ʿĪsā ibn Maryam (a.s.). The reciter of the elegy was a lion, while the listeners were ʿĪsā (a.s.) and his disciples.

This occurred when they passed through Karbalāʾ during their travels.

A furious lion stood in their path and prevented them from proceeding.

ʿĪsā (a.s.) went forward and said:

“O lion, why have you blocked our way?”

The lion replied:

“I will not allow you to pass through this land until you invoke curses upon Yazīd, the killer of the son of the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (s.a.w.a.), and the son of the Friend of Allah, ʿAlī (a.s.).”
