Allah Does Not Disappoint the Visitors

خداوند، زائرين را نااميد نمي‌كند

جهت هشتم: آنكه خداوند قسم ياد نموده است كه زائر را نااميد نكند، چنانكه از خحضرت امام محمد باقر (عليه‌السلام) مرويست، كه فرمود: چون حسين (عليه‌السلام) در كربلا كشته شد در حالتي كه تشنه و مكروب و محزون بود، پس خداوند قسم ياد نمود كه هر مكروبي يا مغمومي يا گناه‌كاري يا تشنه‌اي يا صاحب دردي و مرضي نزد قبر او رود، و دعا كند، و توسل جويد به آن بزرگوار، البته غمش و كربش را زايل نمايد، و حاجتش را روا كند و گناهش را بيامرزيد، و روزيش را زياد نمايد. [817] .جهت نهم: خصوصيت مخصوصه‌اي است، كه در روايتي وارد شده، كه هرگاه زائر در آنجا شب را بيدار باشد و روز را در زحمت باشد، خداوند به او نظر نمايد، كه به آن نظر بهشت اعلي از برايش واجب شود. [818] .جهت دهم: تأثيرات مخصوصه‌اي است در زيارت، از آن جمله زيادتي عمر و رزق است. [819] .و در زيارت عرفه وارد است كه آن سبب اطمينان قلب است در عقايد حقه [820] ، و اين [ صفحه 283] اثر بالاتر از همه‌ي آثار است، زيرا كه همه بر اين توقف دارند و از آن جمله آنكه جميع بديها و مرگهاي بد را دفع مي‌نمايد. [821] .و در ضمان پيغمبر (صلي الله عليه و آله) خدا داخل مي‌نمايد چنانكه در پانزده حديث مذكور است كه پيغمبر (صلي الله عليه و آله) ضامن است كه هر كس زيارت كند حسين (عليه‌السلام) را يا پدرش، يا مادرش يا برادرش را، اينكه روز قيامت او را زيارت كند و از هولها و شدائد آن، خلاص نمايد او را. [822] .

Allah Does Not Disappoint the Visitors

Eighth Benefit: Allah has sworn that He will not leave the visitor disappointed.

As it is narrated from Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (as):

When Husain (a.s.) was martyred in Karbala while thirsty, distressed, grief-stricken, and sorrowful, Allah swore that any distressed person, grieving person, sinner, thirsty person, or one suffering from pain or illness who comes to his grave, supplicates there, and seeks nearness to Allah through that noble Imam, Allah will certainly remove his grief and distress, fulfill his needs, forgive his sins, and increase his sustenance. [817]

Ninth Benefit: There is a special distinction mentioned in a narration:

If a visitor remains awake there during the night and endures hardship during the day, Allah looks upon him with a special gaze, and by that gaze Paradise al-Aʿlā becomes obligatory for him. [818]

Tenth Benefit: There are unique effects associated with the visitation.

Among them are an increase in lifespan and sustenance. [819]

Regarding the visitation on the Day of ʿArafah, it is narrated that it brings certainty and tranquility of heart concerning the true beliefs. [820]

This effect is greater than all other effects, because all other benefits depend upon it.

Among its effects is that it repels all evils and protects a person from evil deaths. [821]

It also brings a person under the guarantee of the Messenger of Allah (sawa).

As mentioned in fifteen narrations, the Messenger of Allah (sawa) guaranteed that whoever visits Husain (a.s.), or his father, or his mother, or his brother, he himself will visit that person on the Day of Resurrection and deliver him from its terrors and hardships. [822]
