Sulaymān (a.s.) Was the Possessor of a Great Kingdom, and Imam Husain (a.s.) Also Was the Possessor of a Great Kingdom

سليمان صاحب ملك عظيم بود و حسين نيز صاحب ملك عظيم

خداوند به او ملك عظيم كرامت نمود و تمام جن و انس و طيور را مسخر او ساخت، و باد مأمور حكم او بود و سليمان كربلا تمام آسمان و زمين و وحش و طير و باد و دريا و جميع ما خلق‌الله حتي بهشت و جهنم و ما يري و ما لا يري مسخر او بودند، و همه‌ي ايشان در وقت شهادتش ناله و ضجه نمودند، چنانكه تفصيلش گذشت. [1441] .سليمان را خداوند مبتلي ساخت به اينكه جسدي را بر روي كرسي او انداخت، كه بعضي گفته‌اند: جسد فرزندش بود، كه مرده بود، و حسين (عليه‌السلام) جسد فرزندش پاره [ صفحه 449] پاره پيش رويش بر خاك افتاد. سليمان مبتلا شد به اينكه خاتمش را ربودند [1442] ، و حسين (عليه‌السلام) خاتمش را با انگشت بردند.

Sulaymān (a.s.) Was the Possessor of a Great Kingdom, and Imam Husain (a.s.) Also Was the Possessor of a Great Kingdom

Allah granted Sulaymān (a.s.) a great kingdom and subjected all the jinn, mankind, and birds to his command. The wind was also commanded to obey his orders.

And the Sulaymān of Karbalāʾ had all the heavens and the earth, the beasts and birds, the wind and the seas, and all that Allah created—even Paradise and Hell, and all that is seen and unseen—subjected to him.

All of them cried out and lamented at the time of his martyrdom, as its details have already been mentioned. [1441]

Allah tested Sulaymān (a.s.) by placing a body upon his throne, concerning which some have said that it was the body of his son who had died.

And Imam Husain (a.s.) saw the torn and mutilated body of his son

lying before him upon the ground.

Sulaymān (a.s.) was afflicted by having his ring taken from him. [1442]

And Imam Husain (a.s.) had his ring taken together with his finger.
