113. The birth of Hazrat ʿAlī Aṣghar (a.s.)

113. ﺗﻮﻟﺪ ﺣﻀﺮت ﻋﻠﯽ اﺻﻐﺮ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم

اﮔﺮ ﺣﻀـﺮت ﻋﻠﯽ اﺻﻐﺮ روز ﻋﺎﺷﻮرا دﻗﯿﻘﺎً ﺷﺶ ﻣﺎﻫﻪ ﺑﺎﺷﻨﺪ، وﻻدت اﯾﺸﺎن ﺑﺎ روز دﻫﻢ رﺟﺐ ﺳﺎل 60 ﻗﻤﺮي ﻣﺼﺎدف ﻣﯽ ﺷﻮد و ﻟﺬا ﻣﺮﺣﻮم ﻧﺠﻢ اﻟﻤﻤﺎﻟﮏ در ﺗﻘﻮﯾﻢ ﺧﻮد روز دﻫﻢ رﺟﺐ را روز ﺗﻮﻟّﺪ ﺣﻀـﺮت ﻋﻠﯽ اﺻـﻐﺮ ﺛﺒﺖ ﻣﯽ ﮐﺮد، وﻟﯽ ﯾﮑﯽ از ﺷﯿﻔﺘﮕﺎن اﻫﻞ ﺑﯿﺖ ﺑﻪ ﻧﺎم ﻋﻠﯽ اﮐﺒﺮ ﺗﺒﺮﯾﺰي از اﻣﺎم رﺿﺎ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم ﺗﻘﺎﺿﺎ ﻣﯽ ﮐﻨﺪ ﮐﻪ ﺑﻪ ﻣﻦ ﭼﯿﺰي ﻋﻨﺎﯾﺖ ﮐﻨﯿﺪ ﮐﻪ ﺧﯿﺮش ﺑﻪ ﻫﻤﻪ ﺑﺮﺳﺪ.

ﺷﺮوع ﺑﻪ ﺗﻮﺳّﻞ و ﺗﻀﺮّع ﻣﯽ ﮐﻨﺪ، ﺳﯿﺪ ﺟﻠﯿﻞ اﻟﻘﺪري از ﮐﻨﺎرش ﻣﯽ ﮔﺬرد، او را ﺑﻪ اﺳﻢ ﺻﺪا ﻣﯽ ﮐﻨﺪ و ﻣﯽ ﮔﻮﯾﺪ: ﺷﺐ ﻧﻬﻢ ﻣﺎه رﺟﺐ را ﮐﻪ ﺗﻮﻟّﺪ ﺣﻀﺮت ﻋﻠﯽ اﺻﻐﺮ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم ﻣﯽ ﺑﺎﺷﺪ، ﺟﺸﻦ ﺑﮕﯿﺮ ﮐﻪ ﺧﯿﺮش ﺑﻪ ﻫﻤﻪ ﻣﯽ رﺳﺪ.

113. The birth of Hazrat ʿAlī Aṣghar (a.s.):

If Hazrat ʿAlī Aṣghar was exactly six months old on the day of ʿĀshūrāʾ, then his birth coincides with the 10th of Rajab in the year 60 AH. Hence, the late Najm al-Mamālik, in his calendar, recorded the 10th of Rajab as the birthday of Hazrat ʿAlī Aṣghar.

However, a lover of Ahl al-Bayt named ʿAlī Akbar Tabrīzī once asked Imām al-Riḍā (a.s.), “Grant me something whose benefit reaches everyone.” He began earnestly invoking and pleading.

A noble sayyid passed by him, called him by name, and said:

“Celebrate the night of the 9th of Rajab, which is the birth of Hazrat ʿAlī Aṣghar (a.s.), for its blessings will reach everyone.”
