What is the difference between this tafsir and Tafsir al-Hadi?

ما الفرق بين هذا التفسير وتفسير الهادي؟

تفسير (البرهان) أشمل وأكثر سعة من تفسير (الهادي ومصباح النادي) الذي أشار إليه في خطبة هذا الكتاب ، وقد ضمن المصنف تفسير (البرهان) مصادر لم يتسن له الحصول عليها عند ما صنف (الهادي ومصباح النادي) وقد عبر المصنف عن ذلك بقوله : «وقد كنت أولا قد جمعت في كتاب (الهادي) كثيرا من تفسير أهل البيت عليهم‌السلام قبل عثوري على تفسير الشيخ الثقة محمد بن مسعود العياشي وتفسير الشيخ الثقة محمد بن العباس بن ماهيار المعروف بابن الجحام ، ما ذكره عنه الشيخ الفاضل شرف الدين النجفي ، وغيرهما من الكتب».

What is the difference between this tafsir and Tafsir al-Hadi?

Tafsir al-Burhan is more comprehensive and extensive than Tafsir al-Hadi wa Misbah al-Nadi, which the author referred to in the introduction of this book. The author included in Tafsir al-Burhan sources that were not available to him when he compiled al-Hadi wa Misbah al-Nadi. He expressed this by saying: "Earlier, I had compiled in the book (al-Hadi) many narrations of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) before I came across the tafsir of the trustworthy Shaykh Muḥammad ibn Mas‘ūd al-‘Ayyāshī and the tafsir of the trustworthy Shaykh Muḥammad ibn al-‘Abbās ibn Māhyār, known as Ibn al-Jaḥḥām, and what the virtuous Shaykh Sharaf al-Dīn al-Najafī reported from him, and other such books."

فتفسير (البرهان) يشمل تفسير (الهادي) مضافا إليه الكثير من المظان التي لم يعتمدها المصنف في تفسير (الهادي) ، ويقول السيد البحراني في خطبة هذا التفسير مؤكدا ذلك : «واعلم ـ أيها الراغب فيما جاء عن أهل البيت عليهم‌السلام من التفسير ، والطالب لما سنح منهم من الحق المنير ـ أني قد جمعت ما في تفسير (الهادي ومصباح النادي) الذي ألفته أولا إلى زيادات هذا الكتاب ، ليعم النفع ويسهل أخذه على الطلاب .. فهو كتاب عليه المعول وإليه المرجع».

Thus, Tafsir al-Burhān includes the content of Tafsir al-Hādi in addition to many sources that the author did not rely upon in Tafsir al-Hādi. Sayyid al-Baḥrānī affirms this in the introduction to this tafsir by stating:

"Know — O seeker of what has come from the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in tafsir, and pursuer of the radiant truth that has appeared from them — that I have compiled what was in the tafsir al-Hādi wa Miṣbāḥ al-Nādi, which I authored first, along with the additions found in this book, so that the benefit may be widespread and its access easier for students... thus this is the book upon which reliance is placed and to which reference is made."
