Maryam Ayah 55

قوله تعالى:

فَخَرَجَ عَلىٰ قَوْمِهِ مِنَ الْمِحْرٰابِ فَأَوْحىٰ إِلَيْهِمْ أَنْ سَبِّحُوا بُكْرَةً وَ عَشِيًّا [11]

Quran 19:11 — M. H. Shakir: So he went forth to his people from his place of worship, then he made signs to them that they should glorify (Allah) morning and evening.

99- _1- (تَفْسِيرُ النُّعْمَانِيِّ) بِإِسْنَادِهِ: عَنِ الصَّادِقِ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ): «قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ) حِينَ سَأَلُوهُ عَنْ مَعْنَى الْوَحْيِ، فَقَالَ: مِنْهُ وَحْيُ النُّبُوَّةِ، وَ مِنْهُ وَحْيُ الْإِلْهَامِ، وَ مِنْهُ وَحْيُ الْإِشَارَةِ -وَ سَاقَهُ إِلَى أَنْ قَالَ- وَ أَمَّا وَحْيُ الْإِشَارَةِ فَقَوْلُهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَخَرَجَ عَلىٰ قَوْمِهِ مِنَ الْمِحْرٰابِ فَأَوْحىٰ إِلَيْهِمْ أَنْ سَبِّحُوا بُكْرَةً وَ عَشِيًّا أَيْ أَشَارَ إِلَيْهِمْ، لِقَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: أَلاّٰ تُكَلِّمَ النّٰاسَ ثَلاٰثَةَ أَيّٰامٍ إِلاّٰ رَمْزاً [1]».

99-1- (Tafsir al-Nu‘mani): On the authority of al-Sadiq (peace be upon him): “Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), when asked about the meaning of wahi (revelation), said: Among it is the revelation of prophethood, among it is the revelation of inspiration, and among it is the revelation of gesture—until he said: As for the revelation of gesture, it is His saying, Mighty and Majestic: So he went forth to his people from his place of worship, then he made signs to them that they should glorify (Allah) morning and evening—meaning, he gestured to them—because He, the Exalted, said: that you shall not speak to men for three days except by signs [1].”

قوله تعالى:

وَ كٰانَ يَأْمُرُ أَهْلَهُ بِالصَّلاٰةِ وَ الزَّكٰاةِ وَ كٰانَ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِ مَرْضِيًّا [55]

Quran 19:55 — M. H. Shakir: And he enjoined on his family prayer and almsgiving, and was one in whom his Lord was well pleased.

99- _2- (دَعَائِمُ الْإِسْلاَمِ): عَنِ الْإِمَامِ الصَّادِقِ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ) أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ: يٰا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ وَ أَهْلِيكُمْ نٰاراً [2]، قَالَ النَّاسُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، كَيْفَ نَقِي أَنْفُسَنَا وَ أَهْلِينَا؟ قَالَ: اِعْمَلُوا الْخَيْرَ، وَ ذَكِّرُوا بِهِ أَهْلِيكُمْ فَأَدِّبُوهُمْ عَلَى طَاعَةِ اللَّهِ». ثُمَّ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ): «أَ لاَ تَرَى أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُولُ لِنَبِيِّهِ(صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ): وَ أْمُرْ أَهْلَكَ بِالصَّلاٰةِ وَ اصْطَبِرْ عَلَيْهٰا [1] وَ قَالَ: وَ اذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتٰابِ إِسْمٰاعِيلَ إِنَّهُ كٰانَ صٰادِقَ الْوَعْدِ وَ كٰانَ رَسُولاً نَبِيًّا* وَ كٰانَ يَأْمُرُ أَهْلَهُ بِالصَّلاٰةِ وَ الزَّكٰاةِ وَ كٰانَ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِ مَرْضِيًّا».

99-2- (Da‘a’im al-Islam): From Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him), who said: “When this verse was revealed: O you who believe! save yourselves and your families from a fire [2], the people said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, how do we save ourselves and our families?’ He said: Do good deeds, and remind your families of them; discipline them upon obedience to Allah.” Then Abu ‘Abd Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Do you not see that Allah says to His Prophet (may Allah bless him and his family): And enjoin prayer on your followers, and steadily adhere to it [1]; and He said: And mention Isma‘il in the Book; surely he was truthful in (his) promise, and he was a messenger, a prophet. And he enjoined on his family prayer and almsgiving, and was one in whom his Lord was well pleased.”
