His noble lineage

نسبه الشريف

هو السيد هاشم بن سليمان بن إسماعيل بن عبد الجواد بن علي بن سليمان بن السيد ناصر الحسيني البحراني التوبلي الكتكاني. [١] قال الميرزا عبدالله أفندي : وكان رحمه‌الله من أولاد السيد المرتضى ، وباقي نسبه إلى السيد المرتضى مذكور على ظهر بعض كتبه. [٢]

His noble lineage:

He is al-Sayyid Hāshim ibn Sulaymān ibn Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAbd al-Jawwād ibn ʿAlī ibn Sulaymān ibn al-Sayyid Nāṣir al-Ḥusaynī al-Baḥrānī al-Tūblī al-Katkānī.[1] Al-Mīrzā ʿAbdullāh Afandī said: “May Allah have mercy on him, he was from the descendants of al-Sayyid al-Murtaḍā, and the rest of his lineage to al-Sayyid al-Murtaḍā is mentioned on the back of some of his books.”[2]
