100. ﭘﻨﺠﻪ ي ﻋﻠﻢ ﺣﻀﺮت اﺑﻮاﻟﻔﻀﻞ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴﻼم در ﻫﻨﺪ

ﺣﻀﺮت آﯾﻪ اﻟﻠّﻪ ﺣﺎج آﻗﺎ ﺗﻘﯽ ﻗﻤﯽ ﻃﺒﺎﻃﺒﺎﯾﯽ ﻣﯽ ﻧﻮﯾﺴﺪ:

در ﺷـﻬﺮ ﻟﮑﻨﻬﻮ، واﻗﻊ در ﺷـﻤﺎل ﻫﻨﺪ، زﯾﺎرﺗﮕﺎه ﻣﺨﺼﻮﺻـﯽ اﺳﺖ، ﺑﻪ ﻣﻨﺎﺳﺒﺖ وﺟﻮد ﯾﮏ ﭘﻨﺠﻪ ي ﻓﻠﺰّي در آن، ﻣﺤﻞ رﻓﺖ و آﻣﺪ ﺷﯿﻌﯿﺎن ﻣﯽ ﺑﺎﺷﺪ.

ﯾﮑﯽ از ﺣﺠّـ ﺎج ﻫﻨـﺪي ﺷﺒﯽ در ﻣﮑّﻪ ﺣﻀـﺮت اﺑﻮاﻟﻔﻀـﻞ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ اﻟﺴـﻼم را در ﺧﻮاب دﯾـﺪ، ﺣﻀـﺮت او را ﺑﻪ ﻣﺤﻞ دﻓﻦ ﺧﻮﯾﺶ در ﮐﺮﺑﻼ راﻫﻨﻤﺎﯾﯽ ﻓﺮﻣﻮد.

وﻗﺘﯽ اﯾﻦ ﺣﺎﺟﯽ ﺑﻪ ﮐﺮﺑﻼ ﻣﺸـﺮّف ﺷـﺪ، اﯾﻦ ﭘﻨﺠﻪ را در آﻧﺠﺎ دﯾـﺪ و در ﺑﺎزﮔﺸﺖ آن را ﺑﻪ ﻧﺰد ﻧﻮّاب آﺻﻒ اﻟـﺪّوﻟﻪ، ﺣﺎﮐﻢ وﻗﺖ ﻟﮑﻨﻬﻮ آورد.

ﻧﻮّاب زﯾﺎرﺗﮕﺎه ﻣﺨﺼﻮﺻﯽ ﺑﺮاي ﭘﻨﺠﻪ درﺳﺖ ﮐﺮد و ﺗﻮﻟﯿﺖ آن را ﺑﻪ ﻫﻤﺎن ﺣﺎﺟﯽ ﮐﻪ آن را از ﮐﺮﺑﻼ آورده ﺑﻮد واﮔﺬار ﮐﺮد. ﭘﺲ از ﻣﺪّﺗﯽ ﺳﻌﺎدت ﻋﻠﯽ ﺧﺎن ﻣﺮﯾﺾ ﺷﺪ و ﺷﻔﺎ ﯾﺎﻓﺖ و ﭘﺲ از ﺑﻬﺒﻮدي درﮔﺎه

زﯾﺒﺎﯾﯽ ﺑﺮاي ﭘﻨﺠﻪ ﺳﺎﺧﺖ.

از آن ﺗﺎرﯾـﺦ ﺑﻪ ﺑﻌـﺪ ﻫﻤﻪ ﺳـﺎﻟﻪ روز ﭘﻨﺠﻢ ﻣﺤﺮم اﻟﺤﺮام، ﻣﺮدم ﺑﻪ اﯾﻦ ﻣﺤـﻞّ ﻣﯽ آﯾﻨـﺪ و ﻋَﻠَﻢ ﻫـﺎي ﺧﻮد را ﺑﺎ اﯾﻦ ﭘﻨﺠﻪ ﻣﺘﺒﺮّك ﻣﯽ ﮐﻨﻨﺪ.

ﺗﻌﺪاد ﻋَﻠَﻢ ﻫﺎﯾﯽ ﮐﻪ ﺑﺮاي ﺗﺒﺮّك ﺟﺴﺘﻦ ﺑﻪ ﻣﺤﻞّ »ﭘﻨﺠﻪ« ﻣﯽ آورﻧﺪ، ﺑﻪ 40 - 50 ﻫﺰار ﻣﯽ رﺳﺪ(1).

آﻗـﺎي ﺣـﺎج آﻗﺎ ﻣﺤﻤـﺪ ﺷـﯿﺦ اﻟﺮﺋﯿﺲ، روز ﺷـﻨﺒﻪ 4/8/83 ﺑﺮاﺑﺮ 20 ذي ﺣﺠــﻪ اﻟﺤﺮام 1434 ق. ﻧﻘـﻞ ﮐﺮدﻧـﺪ ﮐﻪ ﻣـﺪّت ﻣﺪﯾـﺪي

ﺳﯿﻨﻮزﯾﺖ داﺷﺘﻢ، ﺑﺮ ﻣﻮﺗﻮر ﮐﻪ ﺳﻮار ﻣﯽ ﺷﺪم، ﺑﻪ ﺷﺪّت ﭘﯿﺸﺎﻧﯽ ام درد ﻣﯽ ﮐﺮد و از ﭼﺸﻢ ﻫﺎﯾﻢ اﺷﮏ ﺳﺮازﯾﺮ ﻣﯽ ﺷﺪ.

ﭘﺰﺷـﮑﺎن ﮔﻔﺘﻨـﺪ ﮐﻪ ﺑﺎﯾـﺪ ﻋﻤـﻞ ﺷﻮد، ﻣﻦ آﻣﺎدﮔﯽ ﻧﺪاﺷـﺘﻢ، روزي ﺑﻪ دﻧﺒﺎل ﮐﺎري ﻣﯽ رﻓﺘﻢ ﮐﻪ ﻣﺮﺑﻮط ﺑﻪ ﺣﺴـﯿﻨﯿّﻪ ﺑﻮد، ﮔﻔﺘﻢ: ﯾﺎ ﺣﺴـﯿﻦ! ﻣﻦ اﯾﻦ ﮐﺎر را ﺑﺮاي ﺷﻤﺎ اﻧﺠﺎم ﻣﯽ دﻫﻢ ﺑﻪ اﯾﻦ اﻣﯿﺪ ﮐﻪ ﺳﯿﻨﻮزﯾﺘﻢ ﺧﻮب ﺷﻮد. ﺳﻮار ﻣﻮﺗﻮر ﺷﺪ ﺑﻪ دﻧﺒﺎل ﮐﺎر رﻓﺘﻢ و دﯾﮕﺮ از ﺳﯿﻨﻮزﯾﺖ ﺧﺒﺮ و اﺛﺮي ﻧﻤﺎﻧﺪ.

اﯾﺸﺎن ﮔﻔﺘﻨﺪ: ﻣﻦ ﻣﺪّﺗﯽ ﺑﻪ درد دل ﺷﺪﯾﺪي ﻣﺒﺘﻼ ﺑﻮدم، ﺳﺮ ﺳﻔﺮه ﮐﻪ ﻣﯽ ﻧﺸﺴﺘﻢ از ﺷﺪّت درد دل ﺑﻪ ﺧﻮد ﻣﯽ ﭘﯿﭽﯿﺪم.

روزي ﻣﺠﻠﺲ روﺿﻪ اي ﺑﻮدم، ﺳـﻔﺮه ﭘﻬﻦ ﺷـﺪ، آﺑﮕﻮﺷﺖ ﻧـﺬري آوردﻧﺪ، ﻣﻦ ﻧﯿﺰ ﺑﻪ ﺷﺪّت از آﺑﮕﻮﺷﺖ ﻣﻤﻨﻮع ﺑﻮدم، ﺳـﺮ ﺳـﻔﺮه ﻧﺸﺴﺘﻢ و از آن آﺑﮕﻮﺷﺖ ﺑﻪ ﻧﯿّﺖ اﺳﺘﺸﻔﺎء ﺧﻮردم، دﯾﮕﺮ دل درد ﺑﻪ ﺳﺮاﻏﻢ ﻧﯿﺎﻣﺪ.

100. The Blessed "Hand of Knowledge" of Hazrat Abū al-Faḍl (a.s.) in India

Hazrat Āyatullāh Ḥāj Āqā Taqī Qummī Ṭabāṭabā’ī writes:

In the city of Lucknow, located in northern India, there exists a special shrine, built in honor of a metallic hand (panja). This place is a frequent site of pilgrimage and visitation by Shī‘ah Muslims.

One Indian ḥājjī saw Hazrat Abū al-Faḍl (a.s.) in a dream during Hajj, in Makkah. In the dream, the Hazrat directed him toward his own burial site in Karbala.

When the pilgrim arrived in Karbala, he found this metallic hand (panja) there. On returning to India, he brought it to Nawwāb Āṣaf al-Dawla, the then-governor of Lucknow.

The Nawwāb ordered a dedicated shrine to be built for the panja and appointed that same pilgrim as its custodian.

Later, when Saʿādat ʿAlī Khān fell ill and was miraculously healed, he had a beautiful shrine constructed in honor of the panja.

Since then, every year on the 5th of Muḥarram al-Ḥarām, people gather at this sacred site and bring their ‘alams (standard banners) to seek blessings by touching them to the panja.

The number of ‘alams brought for this blessing reaches between 40,000 to 50,000 annually.

Ḥāj Āqā Muḥammad Shaykh al-Ra’īs, narrating on Saturday, 4/8/1383 SH = 20th Dhī al-Ḥijjah 1434 AH, shares:

“I suffered from severe sinusitis for a long time. Whenever I rode a motorcycle, the pain in my forehead would intensify, and tears would flow from my eyes.

Doctors said I needed surgery, but I wasn’t ready.

One day, on my way to complete some work related to a Husainīyah, I said:

‘Yā Husain! I’m doing this work for you—grant me relief from this sinus pain.’

I rode the motorcycle, completed my work, and from that day on, my sinus condition vanished.”

He also said:

“I suffered from severe stomach pain.

When I would sit at the dinner mat (sofrāh), I would writhe in pain.

One day, I attended a majlis where ābgoosht (Iranian stew) was served as nazr (votive offering).

Though I was forbidden from eating ābgoosht, I sat with the intention of seeking healing and ate it.

After that, the pain never returned.”
