Al-Mustadrak (Surah Taha)

قوله تعالى:

وَعَجِلْتُ إِلَيْكَ رَبِّ لِتَرْضَى [84]

20:84 (M. H. Shakir): And I have hastened to Thee, my Lord, that Thou mightest be pleased.

99- _1- فِي(مِصْبَاحِ الشَّرِيعَةِ): قَالَ الصَّادِقُ(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ): الْمُشْتَاقُ لاَ يَشْتَهِي طَعَاماً، وَلاَ يَلْتَذُّ شَرَاباً، وَلاَ يَسْتَطِيبُ رُقَاداً، وَلاَ يَأْنَسُ حَمِيماً، وَلاَ يَأْوِي دَاراً، وَلاَ يَسْكُنُ عُمْرَاناً، وَلاَ يَلْبَسُ ثِيَاباً، وَلاَ يَقِرُّ قَرَاراً، وَيَعْبُدُ اللَّهَ لَيْلاً وَنَهَاراً، رَاجِياً بِأَنْ يَصِلَ إِلَى مَا يَشْتَاقُ إِلَيْهِ، وَيُنَاجِيهِ بِلِسَانِ الشَّوْقِ، مُعَبِّراً عَمَّا فِي سَرِيرَتِهِ، كَمَا أَخْبَرَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْ مُوسَى(عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ) فِي مِيعَادِ رَبِّهِ: وَعَجِلْتُ إِلَيْكَ رَبِّ لِتَرْضَى.

99- _1- In (Misbah al-Shari‘ah): al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: The one who longs does not crave food, nor relish drink, nor find sleep pleasant, nor feel intimacy with any familiar, nor take up residence in a house, nor settle in an inhabited place, nor put on clothes, nor find repose anywhere; rather, he worships Allah night and day, hoping thereby to reach that for which he longs, and he converses with Him in the language of yearning, expressing what lies in his innermost, just as Allah, Exalted is He, informed about Musa (peace be upon him) at the tryst with his Lord: “And I have hastened to Thee, my Lord, that Thou mightest be pleased.”
