3. بابُ 54ثَوَابِ إِمَاطَةِ الْقَذَى عَنْ وَجْهِ الْمُؤْمِنِ وَالتَّبَسُّمِ فِي وَجْهِهِ وَمَا يَقُولُ الرَّجُلُ إِذَا أُمِيطَ عَنْهُ الْقَذَى وَمَعْنَى قَوْلِ الرَّجُلِ لِأَخِيهِ جَزَاكَ اللَّهُ خَيْرًا وَالنَّهْيِ عَنْ قَوْلِ الرَّجُلِ لِصَاحِبِهِ لَا وَحَيَاتِكَ وَحَيَاةِ فُلَانٍ

3- مع، معاني الأخبار أَبِي عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَطَّارِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ أَخِي مَالِكٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنْ قَوْلِ الرَّجُلِ لِلرَّجُلِ جَزَاكَ اللَّهُ خَيْراً مَا يَعْنِي بِهِ فَقَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع إِنَّ الْخَيْرَ نَهَرٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ
مَخْرَجُهُ مِنَ الْكَوْثَرِ وَ الْكَوْثَرُ مَخْرَجُهُ مِنْ سَاقِ الْعَرْشِ عَلَيْهِ مَنَازِلُ الْأَوْصِيَاءِ وَ شِيعَتِهِمْ عَلَى حَافَتَيْ ذَلِكَ النَّهَرِ جَوَارِي نَابِتَاتٌ كُلَّمَا قُلِعَتْ وَاحِدَةٌ نَبَتَتْ أُخْرَى بِاسْمِ ذَلِكَ النَّهَرِ وَ ذَلِكَ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فِي كِتَابِهِ فِيهِنَّ خَيْراتٌ حِسانٌ[1] فَإِذَا قَالَ الرَّجُلُ لِصَاحِبِهِ جَزَاكَ اللَّهُ خَيْراً فَإِنَّمَا يَعْنِي بِهِ تِلْكَ الْمَنَازِلَ الَّتِي أَعَدَّهَا اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لِصَفْوَتِهِ وَ خِيَرَتِهِ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ[2].
4- دَعَوَاتُ الرَّاوَنْدِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: نَزْعُكَ الْقَذَاةَ عَنْ وَجْهِ أَخِيكَ عَشْرُ حَسَنَاتٍ وَ تَبَسُّمُكَ فِي وَجْهِهِ حَسَنَةٌ وَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ أَهْلُ الْمَعْرُوفِ.
5- نهج، نهج البلاغة سُئِلَ ع عَنِ الْخَيْرِ مَا هُوَ فَقَالَ لَيْسَ الْخَيْرَ أَنْ يَكْثُرَ مَالُكَ وَ وَلَدُكَ وَ لَكِنَّ الْخَيْرَ أَنْ يَكْثُرَ عِلْمُكَ وَ عَمَلُكَ وَ أَنْ يَعْظُمَ حِلْمُكَ وَ أَنْ تُبَاهِيَ النَّاسَ بِعِبَادَةِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنْ أَحْسَنْتَ حَمِدْتَ اللَّهَ وَ إِنْ أَسَأْتَ اسْتَغْفَرْتَ اللَّهَ[3].
3- Mālik’s brother al-Husayn ibn A‘yan said: I asked Imam Ja‘far al-Sadiq (a.s.) about a person saying to another person, “May Allah reward you with good.” What does he mean by it?
Imam Ja‘far al-Sadiq (a.s.) said: “Indeed, al-Khayr (Good) is a river in Paradise. Its source comes from al-Kawthar, and al-Kawthar emerges from the base of the Throne. Upon it are the dwellings of the successors (awṣiyāʾ) and their Shi‘ah. Along the banks of that river are maidens growing there. Whenever one is taken away, another grows in its place. They are named after that river.
This is the saying of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic:
﴿فِيهِنَّ خَيْراتٌ حِسانٌ﴾
‘In them shall be goodly, beautiful ones.’ (Surah al-Rahman 55:70)
Therefore, when a person says to his companion, ‘May Allah reward you with the best’, he is actually asking Allah to grant him those dwellings which Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has prepared for His chosen and selected servants.”
4- Imam Ja‘far al-Sadiq (a.s.) said:
“Removing a speck of dust or dirt from your brother’s face earns ten good deeds. Smiling at his face earns one good deed. The first people to enter Paradise will be the people of kindness and good deeds.”
5- Ameerul Momineen (a.s.) was asked: “What is goodness (al-khayr)?” He replied:
“Goodness is not that your wealth and children become many. Rather, goodness is that your knowledge and your deeds increase, that your forbearance becomes greater, and that you excel over people in the worship of your Lord. If you do good, you praise Allah; and if you do wrong, you seek Allah’s forgiveness.”
