مجلس پنجم: كشتي نوح است كه چون رسيد بن محل شهادت آن حضرت و جائي كه [ صفحه 218] كشتي نوح اهل بيت، طوفاني شد آن كشتي به تلاطم افتاد و نوح از غرق ترسيد، مناجات كرد كه خدايا همه‌ي دنيا را گشتم چنين حالتي دست ندارد، پس جبرئيل نازل شد و قضيه‌ي كربلا را بيان نمود، پس نوح و اصحاب كشتي گريستند، و بر قاتلش لعن كردند و گذشتند. [608] .

The Ark of Noah Upon Reaching the Place of Martyrdom

The fifth gathering was that of the Ark of Nūḥ (a.s.).

When the Ark reached the place of the martyrdom of Imām al-Ḥusayn (a.s.), the place where the Ark of Nūḥ and the Ark of the Ahl al-Bayt met, a violent disturbance arose in the Ark. It began to shake and surge with the waves.

Nūḥ (a.s.) feared that it might sink, so he supplicated:

“My Lord! I have travelled throughout the world and have never encountered a situation like this.”

Then Jibrāʾīl descended and informed him of the event of Karbalāʾ.

Thereupon Nūḥ (a.s.) and all those aboard the Ark wept. They invoked curses upon his killer and then continued on their journey. [608]
