Introduction

Know that on that day, Imam Husain (a.s.) manifested the highest forms of noble character (makārim al-akhlāq).

Therefore, it is first necessary to mention the praiseworthy morals and virtuous qualities, concerning which a narration has been transmitted stating that they are among the characteristics of the Prophets and Messengers (a.s.). [264]
