The Kaʿbah has the Maqam of Ibrahim (a.s.), and the Maqam of al-Imam Husain (a.s.) is the shoulder of the Prophet (s.a.w.a.)

The Kaʿbah has the Maqam of Ibrahim (a.s.), and the Maqam of al-Imam Husain (a.s.) is the shoulder of the Prophet (s.a.w.a.)

Eleventh: There is the Maqam Ibrahim there, where the imprint of the foot of Ibrahim (a.s.) remains upon the stone.

And al-Imam Husain (a.s.) is the station (maqaam) of the Beloved of Allah, for the blessed mouth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.a.) left its mark upon several parts of his body.

Among them were his blessed forehead and blessed throat, which continually shone because of the kisses of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.). [1143]

And if the station of the body of the Friend of Allah (Khaleel-ul-Allah) is beside the House, then indeed the station of al-Imam Husain (a.s.) was the shoulder of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.a.), and his back and chest.

Whoever examines the narrations and reports will find that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.a.) would sometimes place him upon his blessed shoulders and walk with him.

At other times, when reclining, he would seat him upon his chest.

And during prostration (sujood), al-Imam Husain (a.s.) would climb upon his blessed back, whereupon he would prolong his prostration until al-Imam Husain (a.s.) descended of his own accord.

From these matters it becomes evident how great was his love and attachment to al-Imam Husain (a.s.), a love and attachment the like of which has never occurred, and never will occur, between any two individuals. [1144]
