S 106 Ayat 1 to 4

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. For the accustomed security of Quraysh, Their accustomed security in the caravan of winter and summer, Let them worship the Lord of this House, Who has fed them against hunger, and made them safe from fear.

[1-4] /11916 _1- Ali ibn Ibrāhīm said: It was revealed about Quraysh, because their livelihood came from the two journeys: one in winter to Yemen, and the other in summer to Syria. They used to carry leather goods and dates from Makkah, along with items from the sea like pepper and others, and they would buy clothes, fabrics, and grains in Syria. They would form alliances along the way and always appoint one of their leaders for each journey. Their livelihood was based on this trade. But when Allah sent His Messenger (peace be upon him and his family), they no longer needed it, because people started coming to the Messenger (peace be upon him and his family) and performing the pilgrimage to the House. Then Allah said: “Let them worship the Lord of this House, Who has fed them from hunger,” meaning they no longer needed to go to Syria for sustenance, “and made them safe from fear,” meaning the fear of the journey.
